I need some parts for my chevy truck.
Looking for an online place that will let me see a parts fiche with reasonable prices.

And for those that are going to ask, need rear brake disks.
With the diesel the brakes are not used that much, the rear disk has rusted and it’s grown in thickness.
First set of pads still have meat on them.

My mechanic friends all tell me GM disk suck and they are made out of bad metal check with your local brake guys see what their thoughts are.

My buddy that owns his own repair shop here in town wont even install GM rotors any more because of this he claims its not uncommon for the brake pads to out last the disk 2 to 1 and the customers get mad at him for the bad materials

Contact scpilot66 scpilot66@comcast.net see if he has any online connections he was getting some good prices for GM parts for his shop in NM

FYI its always been my policy to change brake pads when they are about 50% worn on all my HD tow rigs like RV or what ever I use a lot for towing, these new improved junk pads seems to crack and break up over the old tried and true cheap organic pads you cant buy any more.

I replaced my 2008 Ram 1500 brakes all around with slotted/drilled rotors and pads from eBay seller Brakemotive76. Brakes have been great over 1.5yrs now. No warping, no premature wear, no dust issues, no anything except for great reliable braking.

Did my wife's Saturn Aura (when she had it), too, all four corners with the same seller's product, and she actually saved a motorcyclist's life by being able to stop in time when the BMW-riding moron blindly pulled out in front of her last year.

May not be made-in-USA, but...its where I buy my DIY brakes and they work. :-)

Rockauto.com has always had good prices on Ford and GM parts, they carry OEM and aftermarket parts. You might also check gmpartsdirect.com, good prices too....

autopartstomorrow.com beat most online prices...

I have purchased from Rockauto and Autoparts Tomorrow, I had good experiences at both
