Can someone ask him who built the Engine?

Running stock carb?

Stock clutch?

-2000.00 for the missing plastic
-500.00 for the missing OEM rims

Looks like a 2500.00 Pilot to me with all the rust its not been well cared for shows lots of weathering.

I asked who built the Engine and about carb and clutches. Heres the response....

"Garvis Honda in Des Moines. Carb looks to be oem Honda but could be off of the CR500 that donated the cylinder. Clutches do not appear to be aftermarket. I know that it hauls the mail"

Lines of crap, its looks like a stock 400 jug, maybe the 500 piston and bored??

that's a 400 cylinder and head its also the stock Pilot carb you can see the coolant lines on it in the pics.

If its a 500cc that means they would have to bore it out and install the special sleeve from LA sleeve they designed to make a 400 Pilot into a 500cc it also requires a spacer plate under the cylinder, I would say the guy was either lied too when he bought it or is full of shit.

BUYER BEWARE of this Pilot.

I would not buy without seeing it in person and verifying the Engine was indeed modified as it claims.

Ok just noticed in his description he says " New Aluminum Wheels. ITP rear and Douglas fronts. Same off-set as stock."

Picture shows he is completely full of shit or just a liar .

or doesn't know. A lot of pilots being sold these days do not come with the stock wheels so a newbie might not know the difference

It really chaps my ass when people sit behind their computer and say and do things they NEVER would in front of an actual person for they either would be laughed at or punched out, lol!

For instance I just bought a part for my car off Evilbay, guy charged me 79.99 to ship. Prior to me bidding I asked him about shipping charges and if it was a typo and why so much, he stated he would have to ship the part "baloon" rate. When the package arrived it was NOT shipped balloon rate, it was shipped for $19.81 UPS Ground. I ragged on him till he refunded me $40.00. People will be dishonest, right in front of your face(or computer screen), if they can get away with it!!
