I thought three of these were still available for about $125 each?

Yes it can happen easily, ask FL670 he put all new plastic on his wifes Pilot and rolled it while out playing with us guys and broke something think it was a front fender.

My Pilot came without front fenders they were removed by the former owner because they were so busted up they were worth nothing so I bought two brand new fenders and installed, was not a year and I rolled my Pilot and cracked the front left fender real bad I drilled holes in the end of the crack and installed a stitch for strength, doubt you will ever see new plastic on any of my Pilots thinking about buying a plastic welder to patch up what I have :-) Red duct tape can only do so much lol

I understand when your restoring stuff, or people on a different paybracket than the average joe, but 2 grand for fenders, that's more than I paid for my FL350!

I've got a set of OEM FL350 fenders in the OE-stickered bags, but they stay there. I run my scrub fenders with a little zip-stitching here and there and even a little white-duct-tape filler on one rear fin. :-) Hell, I probably have 6 complete sets of fenders/tubs, but only 2 sets without any repairs. If I get them , I don't sell them. Ever. That front left is hard to find in good shape, too.

Don't forget...anyone can buy as much as their credit cards will let them!

My fenders are scratched and creased/cracked all over.

Not putting new ones on until they are "dune cut " status haha

Have you ever post pics of your Pilot?

I am thinking the plastic welder will ensure I never have to install new fenders?

I have seen lots of pilots with the plastic welds done and pilots from all over the country. Ive yet to see one where i thought wow that's a nice plastic weld. and as for a front right fender being worth 400 dollars or more. You gotta be cracked outta your mind to pay that. I'd ride a pilot naked before i would shell out that kind of money for a piece of plastic.

Please don't ride naked. sand and dirt on the seat will be uncomfortable, and you will have to very careful when you bucket your harness.  :-) :-) :-) :-)

Not to mention the sight of crawling in an out of the pilot.  :-) :-)

Only way plastic welds will look good is if you fix the crack then build it up like bondo then grind and sand it down then buff it out, my plan was only to weld it on the back side and you still see the crack on the outside.
