I remember back in the old days being in the chat room with Liewire and how excited he would get when he seen someone pay way too much for items sold on ebay, how he would talk about just how stupid the consumer really was and how easy it was to take advantage of them, his ramblings all make sense now.

Buyers need to be very aware of those mutts.

shouldn't the focus of that company be on supplying parts you cant buy any place else, according to him that was the original idea of starting the business, after seeing the poor quality and crappy design of his products I would be focusing on improving my poor designs and improving my quality rather than wasting time selling parts anybody can buy CHEAPER at thousands of other locations.

Any plan to get the chat room up and running again?

Chat room is alive and running not much traffic these days. you can use http://xchat.org/ or http://www.mirc.com/ to connect were on the EFNET network chat room name is #ATV&Pilot

I am sure their are other programs or browsers that allow you to connect to IRC I just don't know what they are or how to use them.

Ok here is a portable app that you can use that easy to get into the chat room go here and download the client its a free program for windows http://portableapps.com/apps/internet/pchat_portable once its downloaded install it then start it up you will be greeted with a window like below


Check the EFNET under NETWORKS and enter a nickname its best to use the same nick you use here if its available you also need to enter alternative nicks in case your first choice is taken, I use hoser then hoser1 then hoser2 then hoser3

Next you will need to enter the channel name #ATV&Pilot then click OK



When you get into the chat room you will see people in the chat on the names list on the right, type something in the channel like HI then go on with life chances of you catching another member in the chat waiting for someone to join is slim to none don't set their like a dork waiting for someone to reply lol, check back from time to time were not always their, in the old days we use to have daily meetings at about 6pm CST now its just hit and miss.
