I'm attempting to reconstruct my fl350. Has a home made roll cage I think is down right ugly. If you have a wrecked frame with the tabs that the down tubes bolt together at you'd sell me, please pm me. Thank you.

I bought this thing last year in Phoenix and the frame was all hacked up.

I saved the frame just incase someone ever needed a section to fix theirs, IMHO that's about all it's good for. The rear section is nice but the rest is junk.

How hard do you think it would be to remove the tubes that sit just above the shock mounts on the front that the down tubes attach to? That would be awesome to have. Mine has a homemade front roll cage too id like to scrap if I could...lol. I can pay the shipping no prob.

Where are you located? They might be another member like myself who has a frame you could pick up.

That whole section was already removed when I bought it. I haven't looked at in a while so I cant remember how bad they hacked it when they removed it. It is still in one piece but it would take a pretty big box to ship it whole. I will see if if I can get you a better picture tomorrow.

OK. I was talking about this part of the frame. You'd have to remove it from the horizontal tube. I guess you could call this section the foot pan framing. Its the complete section above the foot pan that attaches to the frame by the steering column and the upper cross tube for the front suspension.

That section was already cut off, I just laid it back on the frame for that picture. The second picture I had posted shows the frame with out it. I will try and dig it out there tomorrow afternoon and get some pics so we are on the same page before I cut anything. :-)

Here you go.. I marked it with a sharpy where I would likely cut it. Let me know if this will will work for you and if you want the larger upper piece as it is was removed with no care to reinstall it so it doesn't look like it will weld back on with out some work to it. ..

The four still on the frame would be perfect where the line is drawn. As you can see in my pics, I'll need the complete front piece as it is. I'll make it work. I'll just cut pieces to get it to fit correctly and weld it all in. Any things better than this hack job. Check out the side supports, cut out on mine also, and the front shock mount he made...what kinda crap is that? Lol

Is that a circle track roll cage on my frame? Its the only thing I can think of why someone would do anything like that. Flat or circle track?

I don't know either, but I don't like it...lol. I prefer the stock look. It'll look stock again by the time I start the build. It'll have to be modified for the 670ho a little, and the a arm conversion on the front end. Got a lot of work ahead of me...lol.

I am the same way, I generally always prefer the stock look on most things.

Yeah. Mine will have some mods, but it has to have that stock appeal or I wouldn't be happy with it. The roll cage is monumental to the Oddy and pilot. Signature of the maker. No one else has it. When you see it, you KNOW that's an Oddy.
