It's one thing to pawn off your garbage on eBay but don't try leading someone from here to buy it. Remember the guys here told you what the problem was. Show some respect.

Now it's in the for sale section.

Any reason why he changed his handle from Ctucker to Pilotjunkie?.....Just curious...did I miss something other than the for sale listing?

I wondered to. He said he was 13yo when he first came on the forum. Now it's a pilotjunkie87 which would tell me he was born in 87 like me so 26/27yo. Maybe he was trying to hustle some cheap parts by acting like a teenager. He should explain. He's online......

People can sell what ever they want good or bad, junk, scrap etc. I really don't care, what I care about is that what ever they are selling they give a honest description no fact is I DEMAND they give a honest description especially if its advertised on PilotOdyssey.com .

If its listed somewhere other than this site that's why we have our honest PilotOdyssey.com watchdog members for, to point out the mutts that are trying to scam our friends and potential friends.

Lets not forget about the " Evilbay Mutt Hall Of Fame!" section that's the area devoted to mutts that cant be trusted for what ever reason.

I also don't care how much someone charges for parts and services, charge what ever you feel you need to get for your parts and services long as your honest and and not taking advantage of my friends, that said don't get pissed at me or my friends when we point out a better deal on parts and services, too high prices for parts and services don't necessarily make a person bad I am sure they have good reasons for the prices they set.

I have seen many list stuff for sale asking way more than its worth simply because they really don't want to sell but if someone was willing to pay them too much for it they would then sell, I have a shop full of items like this I just havent listed them yet lol ....

I know nothing about the seller of that clutch and belts and know nothing about their condition but if the clutch is worn out I would expect the seller to say the clutch faces are worn out or near worn out, I would also expect if the belts are used and worn beyond use that it is disclosed "belts are worn past the limits but could be carried as a spare and used to get you home in the event your belt blew on the trail"

This is all common sense and honesty at its simplest form, that "well if they are dumb enough to buy it" ot "they should have asked before they bid" mentality will not cut it on this site I have 0 tolerance for others taking advantage of someone just because they are ignorant and don't know better..

What we know is that user PilotJunkie_87 posted to this forum on Feb 27th about his Pilot chewing up belts . He was told by members here on Feb 27th that the drive clutch was bad. Here is the post viewtopic.php?f=2&t=13754.

Then on March 1st PilotJunkie_87 posts in the For/Sale-Wanted section of this forum that he has a Pilot drive clutch for sale on Ebay and that we should "Hurry and Bid", here is that post viewtopic.php?f=4&t=13768. And here is the Ebay ad http://www.ebay.com/itm/honda-pilot-fl4 ... 7675.l2557

This is what his Ebay states about the Pilot clutch and three belts for sale... "This is for. A honda pilot fl400 clutch that is has been run a lot and for 3 used pilot belts"

Better let PilotJunkie-87 explain this....

What about the poor bastard on Ebay that thinks hes getting a "run a lot" clutch then the first time he installs, it immediately chews up his belts. Also what about "Joe Pilot/Odyssey forum buyer" here that has not read his post about his Pilot eating belts.
that's dishonest no question. If the clutch is shit, let the buyer know! that's shady as hell!

I guess he is the guy that "should have asked questions before he bid" you know blame it on the buyer for being stupid and not the seller mentality grrrrr ...

I tried to edit the word belt for clutch and I got a lot of duplicate posts. The system wouldn't let me delete the post so I put a period -::

I edited MY post with another users quote quoting me. I wanted to change the word belt to clutch. Im not sure really what was happening because i was in a hurry. Anyhow I ended up with duplicate posts the edited post. I had to do it to a couple posts because I had been quoted so many times. that's why 3 pposts with nothing but periods.

To me, taking advantage of the naive buyer is parallel to playing trivia with a down syndrome patient. If it isn't good business, its bad business, and I don't do bad business. Karmas a real bitch.
