No title for me makes this a non looker. I just had a recent buyer of a 3 wheeler put me through a bunch of unwanted litigation due to title issues(which I was thankfully not guilty of), never again for me. No title, I won't buy it and the state of NJ is like IL, it will take months of paperwork to get title for a Pilot through the NJDMV. And there is no guarantees on it either.
That being said good luck with the sale! :-)

Roger that!! In left wing tree hugging california you have to aquire an OHV sticker to ride in any state park or OHV area which means pretty much anywhere in California. In order to obtain an OHV sticker, vehicle has to be registered by the dmv. No title, no sticker=can't really ride anywhere worth while legally!

Honestly, anytime I see pilots up for sale with no title I automatically assume they were stolen....

Every time I ride in commiefornia I have to have a sticker I just buy one of them non resident stickers NO QUESTIONS ASKED I could be a CA resident for all they know, seems really simple to me buy a non resident sticker for your no title machine, FYI its cheaper to buy stickers from Oregon you just give them your name address vin number of each machine think they were 10 bux each for a 2 year permit :-) again no questions asked.

WHY any CA resident would put forth any more effort than to just go buy a non resident sticker is beyond me.

If your a tight ass SOB and not so honest you can stick your sticker on a part of the ATV that can be removed and transferred to another machine like a plate that mounts like a license plate, I have never seen a ATV cop do anything but look for a valid sticker doubt they ever try to match each sticker to your vin number if you were involved in a accident or did something illegal and had other charges then they might be inclined to run a check.

FYI I bought two stickers and plan on using them on the machines I bought them for.

The whole sticker thing is ALL ABOUT THE MONEY shame they don't make a USA ATV or OHV permit that is valid in all 50 states available almost anywhere that sells gas, alcohol, tobacco products or lottery tickets you know all the other shit you need a "permit" for so they can get their cut of the money....

I was in Vegas couple weeks ago and went to a powersports place and got the CA non resident stickers. They didn't ask for anything except the money, lol. Like H said, way to easy, think they were 30 a piece.

don't have to worry about OHV stickers in NJ...there are no parks to ride in anyway.

Just out of curiosity, do the ATV cops ever check for ID when or if they try and cite you for a violation? I am just wondering if that would be an even bigger fine if they determined you were a Commifornia resident with a non-resident sticker?
