Those are cool cars. Ones a Briggs and the other is a pro atv I think it was. He's absolutely nuts on the price though. He paid $1800 or $1900 for the pair, cleaned them up, and is asking this. He called about them just before I did. Could buy a whole lot more car for the money.

Damn he paid on 1900 for both of them? What a steal, now asking 15000? I cant fault him for asking that,I don't know what theyre worth, actually I do know, theyre worth whatever somebody will pay for them :-)
If I found a killer deal on craigslist I would turn around and sell it for as much as I could also, that's the american way :-)

Oh I'm all about buying and reselling for profit. These are FL250 based cars. There is a reason they've been for sale for a year or more and haven't moved. I could even see a guy trying to get 6k out of them. That's probably pushing the high end of their value but they're rare cars. Rusty sold a later generation far superior car for what 5-5500? Another guy sold that really nice looking gray later model one at an asking price of $7500(not sure on sale price) you could buy 3 fully liquid cooled newer Briggs cars or about 4 pilots for what this guy wants for these fl250 models. He's trying to sucker someone with the name on the cars. I think that's wrong. A new owner at that price would be severely disappointed.

I stand by my statements. I've got a rusted out 97 Altima with 230k miles I'll sell you for 11 grand...... I'd expect some criticism.

I have no problem with what he is asking for them I say go for it, my concerns would be the accuracy of his description.

He is taking a long shot in a small market who knows someone who wanted to relive the 80's and had the money might just buy them, where else you going to find em?

I expect to see them re-listed and listed else where for a while.

I seen them when we were at the Badlands I was not impressed, if it was back in the early 80's I would have been drooling all over them, taking dozens of pictures and asking the owner too many dumb questions, they are a really nice pair of history I just have no interest in them.

Why do people put in their listings "if you ask if it's still available I won't answer"? You know how many things I try to buy that are sold and the people don't take the listing down. What the hell do they want me to ask??

Email collectors send out "is the item still available" email in bulk to collect email addresses. Then spam your email or sell it to someone else who spams your email. If you have some sense you can filter them. If it says "is the ITEM still available" I won't reply. If it says something specific like "I'd the lawn mower still available" you know you have a live one. Respond to that.
Or you've got the guy that asks and you email him right back with your phone number. Tell him to call or text you to set up a time to come see it and they never reply. We're you just wondering?? Lol

I know what you mean by these assholes that don't take down their ad. Almost every single good deal you find. I can do about 1 week a month looking at Craigslist. Gets me too wound up after that. Craigslist people are a breed of their own.
