Saw an fl350 a while back that was "fully restored" with no roof lid or fenders. Engine was "rebuilt" but he didn't know any details on it. ATV racing put new ball joints in the J arms, 102c clutch, and frame and other parts were powder coated, terrible looking "reupholstered" seat. The rest was stock including shocks, exhaust, etc. Asking $5500 firm. I couldn't control myself and asked him if he was nuts. He tried to tell me that's what they're worth when they're as nice as his..... Lol

At $5500 plus $1000+ for NOS fenders, then a roof lid and god knows what else your in trailer queen pilot money. You'd have to be a fool. Guy was in Manhattan, IL.

Had another guy from Depue, IL had a complete all original fl250. Pretty rough shape but it's all there. He thinks its needs a new carb. Just can't get it to run right unless he messes with the choke. (Aka crank seals) make offer.

I don't make offers on things so I told him to shoot me a starting point. He says $1600obo. I commented I'll pass. We won't be able to work anything out from there. He then go's on the defensive and says I should do some research and understand what I'm looking at before I say that. "It's the rare 1978 fl250. First year and its the most valuable odyssey." It's really red with the full cage lol. I told him maybe he should do some research because 1977 was the first year of the fl250 and it was yellow with a half cage. His was from the early 80's and I'd give him $300 and not a penny more for it. That's a fair deal needing crank seals. I think he blocked me at that point lol.
