Are the rear fenders cut or does the picture cast a weird view of them, it seems to be something---

It looks like to me it's missing the rear fender brackets & the fenders are just bowed from flopping around. It's been for sale for a few months now.

Whats wrong with it? seems like a very fair price for a long travel plus big bore kit and all the extras with it

I would not want it for the fact that you have to use race or aviation fuel, The ethanol free super unleaded I use cost $4.99 a gallon and I don't like paying that.

How much is race fuel? I think I would be ok paying the price for race fuel if you felt it performance wise, worst thing about it would be its not readily available

It just looks like a much cleaner Pilot to me, but I guess truth be told it's so far out side my price range it doesn't really matter. :-)

Both of those have been long time craigslist pilots. Both are out of my price by a long shot too, ha ha

Not sure how much race fuel cost but I bet it's about $10.00 a gallon or more, then the cost of the 2-stroke oil on top of that, If I had a pilot and wanted it to go faster I think I would go with a snowmobile Engine.
I also like to run the same fuel and oil in all my 2 strokes so I don't accidentally put the wrong fuel in one of them and mess something up.

Me personally I would rip that race fuel Engine out and run a pump gas 1. My LT Engine Hoser Rebuilt with the Engine mods will actually burn the tires down on the rims- it has great power and costs me tons less to run then the race fuel(cam2 here in NJ). Just my 2 cents. I have never actually understood why in my Engine the balancer was removed but it does seem to give me a tad bit more rpms on top end then a Engine with the balancer in it.
If your unsure what I am referring to look in my section for the LT project it is all documented there about the Engine mods.
