Upper and lower control arms for sale. They are scratched and dinged up with some surface rust from sitting around. The uppers do not have the dust caps for the frame mounts. The lowers are missing the dust caps. Also the lowers are missing the internals for 3 of the 4 frame side mounts. I took pictures of the boots. I can take more for anyone interested. All boots are weather checked/worn. One lower boot has a pin hole in it. The pic shows where the grease is coming out. These have been sitting on a shelf for a couple years as well. Any questions please ask. I am asking 80$ Plus shipping.

Does anyone have a set of stock pilot front upper and lower control arms they could compare these to? I was told these aren't pilot control arms. And if anybody has a guess as to what they might belong to that would also help out.
Thank you
Bob

Hell ill take em. I know they came off of a pilot so they have to be stock pilot arms. Maybe a later date replacement so the balljoints are different or somthing but they have to be pilot arms.

These are NOT Pilot arms, look at a set and you will see the difference, you have a snow balls chance in hell of bolting them onto any pilot. I am keeping them, some one pulled a fast one on Bob, I will leave it at that. No worries Bob

You cant mount them up on a pilot, they are several inches away from fitting the mounts of a pilot, way to narrow, I have 5 pilots in my garage, a blind man like stevie wonder can see they aint going to fit a pilot NOOOOOWAY

Gee, where is the kick in the top arms a pilot arm has....HMMMM how about the 2...TWO brake line holders PILOT arms have, how about the gusset extending all the way to the ball joint that a pilot arm has from the shock mount. HHmmm Here I thought you guys knew pilots, these arms look nothing like pilot arms. I didnt even look at the pictures yesterday or when ever it was that I wanted them lol looking at the pictures I can see right away they are nothing like pilot arms lol Come on guys

Well I thought you did too LOL I mean you did buy them and saw the exact same pics as us. Stevie could really see. Don't tell me you actually believed he was blind! You didn't did you :). Yeah I've glanced at the pics again and again now and noticed a couple small things that look out of place. I think the whole deal. About before you getting them is pretty crappy. But that's another story.

I was actually renting scuba gear when I glanced at the pics. They looked like it to me at first. And you don't have to tell me about the 5 pilots. I still have lustful thouts about them every now and again haha!

Yeah for sure. Glad you could use them. So this leads me to another question. If they will work for your aplication we should find out what they really are from and possibly have an easier part to use.

I think they are 400ex but these have the same ball joints the pilot has, other arms I have bought do not have these ball joints. Going to have mt son look them over for a part number ir some kind of ID. Guess I could ask the guy who stole his pilot arms where he got these to give him?

Now that i take another look, they are not pilot arms. But my question is what are they? Are the balljoints the same as the pilot? As in as much travel? if so maybe they are a cheaper source of arms that could be used for long travel kits or to repair wore out pilot arms? They do look to have the same brake line clamp spot as a pilot, but like you said the pilot has 2.

Now i did some digging on ebay and found these that look identicle to the arms bob was told were pilot arms.. and that sucks that he had them switched on him. So to me i bet they are trx250R arms. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Honda-trx-250r- ... b3&vxp=mtr

edit: 400ex and trx450 arms look differnt so me in the way that the brake line clamps attach. But since you said the balljoints are the same, and the 250R is the same era as the pilot im betting that's what they are. no reason for honda to source another place to buy the balljoints when they have one that works well :)

to you?? Your the one that were so sure these were pilot LOL Looks like it could be the one, The ball joints have the same numbers stamped on them, My son is going to cut them out tomorow, I will look it over when he gets the boots off. I cant see them not rotating any different than a pilots, will let you know, forsure cheaper unless you already have pilot arms to use.
