None really, just keep me informed as you mentioned as what exactly Wiseco or the supplier say in regards to them, if I may express I would LOVE to have them replaced if we can, my reason for even thinking of doing it myself was to have them for stock for future rebuilds.
Thanks to all for the time and effort involving these pistons!

Well that was fast, USPS is busy as hell I figured it would be a few days later than they estimated.

Yes send me one please.

How soon do you need your cylinder back looks like after the first of the year is going to be the soonest I can hand deliver, can ship if you need sooner.

I will get one sent out to you, keep my cylinder and bring it when you come.

Do you need the bearing as well? I have one if you do.

No wrist pin needed Mudbogger sent one inside each piston kit so I currently have 4 :-) I assume you still have my address on file.

One piston kit is on its way to you, USPS priority. I will pm you the tracking #.

Thanks so much Steve for the piston kit, I will hopefully if Wiseco makes my Christmas Merry replace asap!

Mudd, all the pistons have been fixed and are in mail back to. "H". He will need to sign for them once they get there. He can inspect the repairs to be sure they meet his approval.

Yup I know its like their is a curse with Wiseco pistons remember the FL350 cursed piston and Ed at Triple E (ole E is not for Einstein Ed) viewtopic.php?f=26&t=3596&start=25 its like we have to be punished really good before were allowed to use them.... Just think if you lived over seas and it took weeks to ship something and had to deal with customs what does Wiseco do then refund money and throw them in the trash as they should rather than playing all these games..

Adnoh, did Wiseco approve/send you any type of documentation of the repairs by chance to my pistons. Just thinking of future use if/or issues arise I will have it for records. Thanks!

Hello Mudd. Just got back in town and read thru the posts.
#1 The obstruction was so minute that I felt there was no reason to send back to Wiseco.
#2 I wrote on each box what was done to each piston as a set.
#3 "H" had to sign for them as I insured them for 1,200.00 for cost of replacement incase the got lost or stolen.
#4 It took about 5 minutes to fix them all and then I spent three hours going over them one by one.
#6 Yes, I did the work.
#7 I was really surprised that "H" would not fix this as he does all sorts of piston prep unless he does not do it anymore.
#8 Guess I do not blame him as they should have been correct, just part of Engine building.
#9 If they are not to His/Your approval then I will take back and refund all your money. Then I will put you on the list for the next batch if you wish.
#9 Just how they got the way they did was a mystery as it appeared to me not to be a machining flaw. I'm no expert though.
#10 As I stated before I doubt no matter what I would bet "H" would not use these piston kits even if the bashed Wiseco did the work. Just a gut feeling.
#11 I did mention in the send back post to have him ("H") inspect them for acceptance.
#12 The send back post was short as I took vacation time away from my family to get these fixed and back to "H" in time for Christmas.
#13 "H" is your builder and he should have the final word on your Engine and it's parts.

As I said before and will say again. If you or "H" or the board for that matter does not feel these kits are OK then send them back insured postage and I will return your full purchase price plus all you shipping and any cost for "H"'s time.

P.S.
I have to head back out of town tomorrow so if you send back wait until the 3rd.

On a personal note these kits will always be in question and most likely be blamed for any failure so I would recommend you get them back to me and get your money back and hope the next batch does not have an issue. If I would have sent them back to the MFG they most likely (based on other piston that got sent back and repaired in the past) would have done what I did and then send them back or returned my money. So either way we are right back where we are at.
Mudd all I can say is, I did what I thought was best and if that was not good enough or satisfactory than all I can say is Sorry!

Any and all can bash away for the way I handled this if they want and I can even be banded if necessary.

Hi and thanks for the reply back! Again, there is no need for you to apologize to me-I would never blame you for Wiseco's mistake, it is and IMHO will be an issue with Wiseco, you did not produce them, and your not blame for any failures(if applicable). I will let Hoser check them as he does do all my engines in everything I own basically these days. You have handled my personal issues professionally, without any form of bias, and I could not for the life of my even think why anybody would ban you, you provided a much needed service and product to the members here, and I am sure it is VERY VERY much appreciated Adnoh by the members!!, I for 1 tell you it is from me.
I had posted the interest in processes and any form of communication from Wiseco due to the fact i was curious as too Wiseco's views on these 4 pistons(on the notion they had been sent back to them), also was curious if they helped you the buyer in regards to customer service, many years ago I bought pistons from Ed at triple EEE and had issues with them (meaning Wiseco), Ed had 1 heck of a hard time getting them replaced, and when he did they gave me back the very same piston I had sent them(I marked it in a place they never checked, so I knew it was the same one) so I had it in the back of my mind that they would not stand up for there product.
I also appreciate you taking time out to fix my 4 pistons, your knowledge of these 2 strokes goes without saying,I have no issue with you doing any form of repairs on my pistons as I trust your skills and judgements like I do with Hoser, and for you to take the time to explain each and every piston on the box to Hoser makes me feel like your really cared about the transaction between me and you, and the group as a whole. Again PLEASE PLEASE do not feel your in anyway to blame for these 4 pistons, everything on your end has been top notch, and for me personally you have gone far and away way over what most would do.OK?
I don't WISH TO ASK FOR ANY MONEY FROM YOU, but thanks for the offer as you have done here and in personal emails between us. Wiseco should reimburse you for them if anything, and I can assume that would be like winning the lotto! I do not ride hundreds of hrs a year, I am limited to time and I bet the repairs you have done will be fine.

Maybe they're on their way back to you Hoser. When something goes through Hazelwood, Mo in the morning that means we'll get it in the mail the next business day. That's how I know to expect mail the next day.
