Looking to find a generic or different atv mirror to fit the pilot.don't want to spend the 150 to 200 bucks people want for pilot mirrors.
So does anyone know what the thread size is?
Will fl350 mirrors work on a pilot?
Anyone used a different mirror?
Wanting to see if something like this will work

Aren't the 350 mirrors are much smaller then the FL400 mirrors.

Cannot edit - this is from the last ebay listing I posted.....5 1/4" x 3 1/4" inch mirror area. I have not measured the pilot mirror, but is one seems like a good size.

My goal was to try and find a mirror that would mount with just the one bolt into the existing pilot thread hole, if the FL 350 mirrors work then I am done looking
The watercraft mirrors all have at least two bolts running through them,i'm sure you could make one work if you really wanted to

I would like to find one pilot mirror if anyone has one they'd be willing to part with even if the glass is cracked or foggy. As long as the black housing is good.

I am also looking for a mirror, not willing to pay $200 for one that is on ebay. it would be nice to find a good cheap alternative. going price I have seen in the past is $50-60, even that seems to be kinda steep for this tight wad. :-)

I am using universal fit scooter mirrors on my FL350 Ody. They're cheap and stick out farther than the POS Ody mirrors. You can actually see behind you!

I have the one mirror I was thinking of attempting to duplicate the housing out of fiberglass. Maybe try to make a mold with my existing mirror. And then having pieces of glass cut to fit and then epoxyed in place. It would be nice to replicate the pilots mirrors for the 350s as well.

350 mirrors suck! All you can see is the frame behind you.

That's why I went with the extended mirrors.

I agree that's why I would like pilot or pilot like mirrors on the 350s as well.

Rand. What mirror did you buy that bolted right in?

Seems to me you can put any mirror on you want if you make a small male/female adapter out of a piece of round stock. All you need is a tap and a die and a drill. Small piece of black rubber hose to cover it all up. Done, call it a day.

I'd rather buy what fits than buy a tap and die set I'll probably never use again. There has to be a mirror that will bolt right in. I'm with Rand as I'd like them to stick out further so I can see what's behind me better.

I've got the mirrors on the bench in the garage. I'll have to check to see what size the threads are and post some pictures.

They stick out further than the stock mirrors and make it easy to see behind you.

If they're sitting on the bench they must be spares and you can sell them to me?!
