In 1997, I decided I wanted a mint condition Honda Pilot (to own and keep for posterity :-). After a long a sometimes frustrating search, I found what was, at the time, the nicest one in the country and bought it. Never really rode it, just babied and pampered it, keeping it in perfect running condition ever since. So, today, 17 years later, I have to believe it is one of the nicest ones on the planet. Certainly collectors quality. So if my Pilot is as rare and wonderful as I think it is, how would you guys suggest I go about valuing it and marketing it to the right potential buyer?
Thanks in advance for any advice that you might share with me!!

Looks nice from what I can see, if it was mine and I was selling like you are I would find a friend or acquaintance that has a really nice camera and knows how to use it I am talking a 1000.00+ camera, my cousin has a digital camera he paid 5000.00 for so I would be calling him.... Anyways take too many high quality DETAIL pictures and post here let us pick out what we feel are the best pictures....

BTW Mudbogger has a Pilot in much better condition...

That will probably do it, try and find a neutral back ground that is not too contrasting or busy like parked in front of a bunch of small trees that distract you lol I suggest a grass field maybe with minimal background distractions.

Well bringing it here and putting pics up is a good start, but be prepared for it to get picked apart if we see something that doesnt look right.I've seen many a pilot put on ebay that claimed to be low hr pristine pilots just get ripped to shreds on here for stuff that didnt look right.I don't know what you want for it but most members on here want something to ride, not something to be preserved.
Ebay is always going to be your best bet in my opinion, worldwide exposure, that's why their fees are so high.

Missing black rubber caps on lower front rollback bolts. Has the right front drum been painted red? Its been ridden plenty of wear on the tires.

Yes, but I think it makes sense to invest some more time with the best quality photos I can muster (as hoser suggested) and go the ebay route for maximum exposure (as redskinman suggested). Thanks again all...

Haha and I see ones that look perfect to me get picked apart. Some of the detail guys on here see is incredible. If you ever did want a perfect example guys here could tell you exactly what you need to do.

To me this is a very nice pilot.

Indeed, but that passion and attention to detail by aficionados is pretty cool :-)
