Looking to add one of these to my collection. Let me know if anyone has a cherry one they want to part with.

Thanks

Brian

Looked at that one Thursday. Nice trike. I was at 1800$. He's not budging from 2400$. I would pay that or more for a turn key trike.

front brake had no pressure leaking
needed front wheel bearings
steering bushing loose or worn
rear axles hubs loose
rear bearings loose
caliper bracket loose
plastics zip tied to the extreme
mice in airbox
exhaust pipe leaking
aftermarket muffler
headlight guard bent
handle bars bent.

Didn't even start it because they were firm. It is a nice trike just needs time and a few hundred dollars. The hunt continues!

They weren't very honest in their description... Surprise surprise...
Shame people just can't be forthright

85 is back up plan. 86 or the alleged unicorn 87

Keep them coming.

Thanks

Scooped up a good runner for 800$. Needs minor odds and ends but is a nice base.

In the market for a stock muffler, front caliper, and axle if anyone has one available.

Thanks

Brian

'85 or '86? Great price either way!! It's funny I read your post now, just got back from my Honda shop that was open in the '80's and I asked the owner about the '87s and he never saw one(except he has the brochure, I live in Canada). It was passed along to me that all our dealers here filled up a storage container with 3 wheeler stock, and at some point it was buried... Like the treasure it is if you could find the site. I find the "unicorn" '87 ATC250R to be extremely interesting, and since I am in Canada I will keep asking around as a hobby. I really doubt the buried storage container story, but goes to show how everyone puts a twist on stories over time. My Dealer was not banned from selling ATC's in the '80s, he just did not order any 250r's or 350x's at that time. Everyone wanted the '86 TRX250R when it came out. There was a possible fear of liability with the sale of three wheelers even though the dealer had no official ban, he avoided any risk by not ordering any more. I doubt they would go extreme and bury their present stock, but that's what I was told. I have a friend of the family that was in charge of Honda Parts Canada, he should have a story to tell...

Canada should have some unicorns. We have a 87 250sx in the pack so some must exist.

85 is what I scored. Will be into it for 1600 or so when done and it will be a complete runner. Oddy is still the most fun in the fleet.

I guess we can't see all those white '87s due to the snow and poor visibility outside of our igloo's.... Lmao. You did well on yours, my Buddy is the original owner of an '86, 99% stock except for wheel spacers, and he has a '85 I want as well. Won't sell either one and if he did he want's a lot more than 1600$, congrat's on yours, my buddy has been eyeing my '89 Pilot now so we're even, cause I will never sell that to him
