I called and left a message, will see if he returns the call.
That's the second or third car I've seen come out of that area.

He just text me and said the car has been sold.

Hopefully they will, finding them is rare but actually getting your hands on it is the difficult part.

If the guy would have returned my email I would have had someone their the next day with a pickup and cash in hand... Assume someone else beat me to it. I needed another project like I needed another hole in my head it would have been a curiosity purchase, buy fix what needed fixed to see if it had any potential if not then sell it.

I have seen 5 in my search. Only 1 ran, the other 4 would need lots of work. Fuel tanks rusted or missing, engines not run in years, Brakes froze or rusted lines. Blown shocks, frozen bearings, bad bushings and the list goes on and on. Every time I try to tell myself I can use an old part it takes a sh!t on me. The next one I'm doing what you said, go through it enough to get it running and see if their is potential. They can be serious money pits...
