I can tell you the FL350 went for around $3800. At the time I had a 1977 FL250 and was very excited to get a brand new FL350 with suspension!

So I went to buy a brand spanking new one at the dealership however, I about fainted when I saw the price! After I woke up from my fainting spell, I walked out of the dealership with a brand new 1986 LT250R Quad Racer instead for $2000.

I didn't buy an FL350 until 2008! However In 1984 actually got to see one of the prototype FL350's made by American Honda in Torrance Ca in the flesh.

The story goes like this.....

I had a couple of questionable friends that worked for the sanitation company that hauled refuse for American Honda. They new I was a Honda Odyssey fan and they were sure to rub it in that they were in possession of Honda's new FL350r. I was very skeptical and asked how that was possible. It turns out that after Honda did the testing of their prototypes, they hacked up the frames and discarded the whole FL350 in the trash! My friends who were Honda 3 wheeler fans decided to pull them out of the trash and weld the frame pieces back together. It was after that I got my first view. Sadly it all came to a very abrupt end when Honda found out they were in possession of them!

Another reason for the death of the FL350 was that the sport quad was just coming into its own and was almost 1/2 of the price!

I had a friend that worked at AH in Torrance, I was there to pick up a generator that a coworker bought through her. I peeked into the dumpster they had, you could make a living off the scrap metal alone but there was all kinds of good stuff, I grabbed a CR250 wheel, it had a crack in the hub where the seal goes.
I think all the dealer stuff that ends up being replaced ends up there.
My friend had something to do with the cars coming in for the shows, she mentioned that they end up destroying the cars after otherwise there is a lot of red tape with importing.
this was along time ago, you are now hearing 3rd hand information so take it for what it's worth.
sorry for going off topic.

I don't have the price but in 88 I bought a new Banshee out the door for about 3K, I heard the pilots were about 2 times that.
