Member DMoneyAllstar is going to be making some new replacement intake manifolds. His thread is about 15 or so down from this post. I have a used oem one but the rubber is a bit hard. Its all yours if you need it.

I know several people with CNC's that can make these maybe some competition will bring the price back to reality, I have many stock manifolds to copy also have "the other guys" I bought for my Pilot as well as a Mossbarger manifold to copy, their are many options for other 2 strokes aftermarket manifolds being built https://www.google.com/search?q=ATC250r ... VmSOQhM%3A maybe the same can be done with a FL350 and Pilot ??

On a side note: For the Pilot a 79 CR250 manifold can me used for aftermarket carbs (39mm fits nice) http://www.pilotodyssey.com/BTmanifold.htm never tried one on a FL350.

Anybody motivated with basic cad skills OR NOT could draw up a manifold I bet you could get guys to bid against each other on small batches at one of the many CNC sites heck you might even find a few who will draw it up for you https://www.google.com/search?q=cnc+par ... cnc+forums I have seen chatter all over the internet over the years where guys stay late and use their employers CNC for side projects ('Government Jobs') or you can shell out the 200 bux and devote your time to drinking beer fantasy football NASCAR etc. ....

MOST IMPORTANTLY and what prompted me to reply to this thread in the first place... a USED manifold will probably be really hard which is like mounting the carb solid to the Engine, not having isolation can cause the fuel to foam in the carb and the Engine to suck air, upset the float level cause fuel delivery problems, not a good idea either way.

I liked http://www.alibre.com/ they use to have a free version for solid modeling and a ton of tutorials get an idea how easy it is to learn https://www.youtube.com/results?search_ ... opensearch

You get the idea maybe start a new thread here viewforum.php?f=178 get site members to collaborate.

I wonder how many other "discontinued" part are really at Hondas warehouse to ship? Every time I order a discontinued part, they call me and tell me it is discontinued. I'm very surprised that part I
La would even process the order on a part marked as discontinued.

Junkboy, IMO you should have stood by your posts and not just edit them to a dot. I see nothing wrong with making a buck or two. I have paid to keep parts around for my machine. People who put in the time like H described above deserve to make a profit. junk boy I do not know the history of how you got to your price matter of fact thought Dmoney was the original seller of these. I believe I bought a FL 400 manifold from him.

i dmoney was originally selling them, but i bought them from him as i kept running out. i deleted my posts because i was frustrated. i felt people were getting all pissy because i was going to make a whole $35 each from these. if people wanted to begrudge me $35 then ill just not offer them for sale on this venue. ive had these problems with my honda prelude parts. forums & facebook groups want you to sell stuff for nothing.. if someone is interested in intakes, pm me.
