ok.
1.so i have an oem tachometer that i got on a Pilot i bought.
2.i bought another oem tachometer with the sub harness & bracket and it looks exactly the same as the installed tachometer. guy i bought it from said, when asked, that its from a FL350R Odyssey or FL400R Pilot. he wouldn't answer me which one it was correct for. are they the same?
3.i have a NOS mount kit for the FL350R Odyssey

A. does anyone have the install instructions for the honda pilot tachometer that they would be willing to give me a copy of or sell the original?
B. does anyone have any tach stuff for sale for the Odyssey or Pilot? would take almost any part.
C. why would my tach go all crazy & not work with one of my rev limit modded CDI (Capacitor Discharge Ignition) box's but not the other non rev limited one
D. are any of the Pilot tach parts interchangeable with the 350 Oddy?
i think that's it. the tach is mint. looks nos, but is slightly used. i only got the tach with the sub harness that you have to buy. im missing the long wire that goes to the coil & mounting kit for my Pilot. anyone got that stuff for sale? i know i can make it, but would rather have the correct parts.

here you go the pilot install instructions.......
firstly the tacho head unit is the same.it has a oddy part number -VM0- but is the same for both. The power harness is different the pilot one has the two green connectors (see pic below) the oddy power harness has bullet connectors instead of the green plugs.
The mounting kits are the same apart from the coil wire, the oddy wire is about 6" longer but i have used them before.
CDI (Capacitor Discharge Ignition) mod shouldn't make any difference...i run a tach on my 500 pilot with rev limiter removed..

That is a oddy power harness you have......sorry mine not for sale ...took 10 years to find one and had to buy a pilot attached to it LOL...but i have made up a few for guys on here...only problem not cheap as i have to buy a used TRX main harness to get the green plugs....
