Ok ? I am looking at running some under body guards

1/ Run front to seat. So run front behind the steering yoke to middle to the seat.
I am looking and using 6.5mm perspex
2/ as above but from the rear of seat back to OEM skid pan.
looking and running checker plate aluminum. Due to heat

concerned about heat from expansion pipe.

Thoughts

Adrian.
1-If you want clear sheet then go for the Polycarbonate sheet not Perspex. The PC is way higher inpact plus handles being drilled for holes.Perspex drilling is very dodgy at edges and corners.
2-WHY are'nt you in bed huh? Must be midnight there.Get to bed!

Yeah sure mate! ...You were still logged in when I went to sleep and I'm 2 hours after you...no wonder your charging your customers like a Crackhead Canadian down a mountainside! :-)
Anyway another tip is to make sure you spray your jigsaw blade, drillbit and ol fella n balls with HaveGas!
You'll then have all the protection a man could ever wish for! :-)

Baz

Thanks for the tips. Yes lube goes a long way. Speaking of lube Just stocked up on Motul 4 litres and will some run good Haveagas oh sorry I had a brainf@rt, nearly crossed to the dark side. Good old Aussie Bowser Pump Premium 98. :-)

I wanted to make a full alloy tray but I felt it would decrease ground clearance
and on the bush / fire trails every bit counts. If I was playing in sand all the time
a full tray would work.

The main reason for this when I hit any water the oddy gets server belt slip.
but I am also a little concerned re heat build up.

Trip in early August and if it works will set it up properly for the next ride in early October.
