I just bought this on ebay for $34 plus shipping
i had set the reserve high at $50 cause I figured nobody would jack it up that much and it seemed rare.

sooo was it anyone here who brought it up to $34 :-)

You dog you! :-)
Nice buy! I didn't see that. I would've took it right on past $50. I've got the April 85 Dirt Wheels.

you guys should scan the 350 pages up on here and see if Hoser will make a sticky for them. Nice old school reading.

I don't know how to do that guys. I'm not the most tech savvy guy. Have never really pushed myself to try. Don't spent much time at home. I can try to take good pictures.

BS you got the ability to do that? I'd trust sending it to you to do this. Not trying to sign you up for some work but what do you think?

you can use a scanner (looks like a copy machine but it scans documents to the computer) if you don't have one you can go to fedex office and do it. Or take a picture of each page and post them up

Honestly, I take photos in the field with my iPhone from about 2-3 feet of pages all the time (tech manual sheets, line drawings, etc.) and it's better than any scan will be for this purpose. Quicker and easier

I can zoom in and get all the detail I need

Also, magazine scans get a moire effect from the print process

Hope that makes it easier for this plan

Used to "stay up late" to listen to Dr D when I was little. "Shell station"-"you blew a seal" ....hey leave my private life out of this!

If any one has one of these early mags with the Briggs Gen 4 article in it that would be cool to see also.

BUMP from the depths of 2013!

I just bought a copy of this I found on eBay. Used but the pictures looked nice. $20.

Its going to take like a week for me to receive it though, and I cant wait that long.

Did anyone ever get this issue in a PDF? If YES - please post a link. If NO - then I will do the honors when I get my copy.

and BTW, I actually own a Yamaha BW80 and so this mag is like a 2-for-1 deal for me lol!

Thanks

Sorry I should explain, I scored a copy of Dirt Wheels 1985 April issue. The one with a 350r, a BW350, and a Tecate on the cover

Here is about 90% of the April 1985 Dirt Wheels Magazine. My scanner ran out of memory at page 99, but honestly that's long past any of the desirable reading articles. Page 23 starts the show.

Thanks for taking the time to do that for us. I think I might still have an old dirt wheels VHS at home. I remember contacting DW and offering it to them but they had one already.
