Well not much to offer here,but thought I'd better contribute something to justify my world...and also so as hoser don't sack me!

I've been having real bad reliability probs with these Tridon thermo fan switches,so I'll be replacing with the much better quality/perform Teddington UK adjustable switch like I bought for the Drakart.
They only seem to last about 1-2 years,then crapola.
The UK Teddington brand is not only top quality,but very reliable so far,no probs with it being 8 years old in race conditions.
There are diff temp range models,and why I'm using these because you can go down to any temps.My goal being around 65c-150F start fan.
Why those temps you say? Because it's what I've learned from people in the know eg Ian Williamson racing,Rotax and Arctic Cat data/info.
They all recomend around 65C-150F for bestoptimal sled motorHPpowerresults.
The Tridon unit in pics was good at 55C start,the closest I could get locally,but keeps crapping out and not reliable.

Last event at Hedley Park,the FL800 was running hot at the day's end,traced it down to ANOTHER dodgy Tridon switch.
So I fitted it on the FL800,and AC550 next when bought.

Also fitted some HID lights on the AC550Pilot as looks like our ol venue at Northam Speedway looks to be coming back regular,nightime events?

Thought I'd put this here because of ol pics of hood bonnet when raw black.
So after ? Years,finally decided to pull my finger out and geter painted Red to see what she looks like?
Came out ok,but just need to finish with some dual centre stripes,maybe Stang style and either in straight Black or in Carbon Fibre vinyl sheet?

Made up some wheel adapters to utilise a spare set of 26" Polaris/Revolt wheels for extra height/clearance where I camp.Mate of mine jet cut some 25mm/1" alu plate.
Fronts 4x110 to 4x156 pcd,and rears 4x130 to 4x156pcd.
Much better stance now but will have to mod the front nerf to clear full lock.

Took off the racing nerfs today ready for clearancing the fronts for full lock.Not sure if I'll put them back on as I don't race anymore and much prefer bugcamping at the beach dunes.Tested driving in backyard and surprised not too much difference in turning especially when it's all at slow pace and will be easier at speed outdoors.
While out it got its first wash in years since shed bound.

Cut inner end of alu nerf bar then pushed it in and rewelded for the full lock clearance.Still learning/practicing alu spoolgun welding.Wish I had started decades ago absolutely love it.Next to learn is Tig.

Slow leaking Pilot fuel sensor in my custom alu fuel tank drivin me nuts.
Thought it was the washer seal each time but turns out its the tweaked wire spade connecters where the black resin is.
So used some nail polish all round to hopefully seal it.
Yes it's my polish!
I use it to refit my fishing rod line hoops and touchups on the buggies.
Its also RED so don't be hatin me!
I'll update the results when known.

Test it by pouring some fuel on it.

May have better results with some JB weld.
