Cool, glad it running better, what dunes you riding?

sand lake oregon. it is just below tillamook on the coast. it is small compaired to other places, but only 1hr 45min drive and big enough to have fun. i have a big group going. lots of kids. i am also building up my sons eton 90 atv for the trip. i will let you know how the new float adjusted out when i get back. then i will try and post a picture. i still need to poweder coat the frame and replace all fenders. oh a tech tip just in case you havent seen this yet. the steering column on this was bent and i purchased a used one on ebay that ended up being bent too. i cut all the brakets off of the tube and found at the local hardware store some thicker black pipe with the same outer. i cut to length and welded all the brakets in the correct locations. then for the bushings i turned them from high density plastic. my steering shaft had rust pits and had turned the ends down to a smooth surface. this works great and will be stronger. just a thought.

Set the floats at 16mm no more and measure from the base of the carb housing, re read the manual it can be decieving on this.I would take the old flaots and see if they have a pin hole leak, put them in a glass with water, see if they flaot or take on any water-wiegh them first and after the sit in the water for a spell, that's a sure fire way to see if they are taking in any liquid.

ok lots lerned from the trip in the sand. it would run great for 4seconds then die. i replaced the fuel pump with an electric and then it was better. i set the float back to stock. the odyssey runs bad untill it gets realy hot and i floor it for 30 seconds. then it will run great for the rest of the ride. stock tires take it up most of the hills, but not the big ones. my stock old suspension bottoms out and sucks. i need info on good shocks. dual rate springs prefured. the Engine is stock and need info on more power. the steering column looks completly stock to pictures wont help.
