I don't think I am qualified to do a "how to" but for those buying this starter go ahaed and make you a new wire from the relay to the BOTTOM of the starter... I think a new connector would have held up better... As far as Twisting the starter outer casing to move the post... not on tis starter... I saw a post months ago about one on e-bay, and that was recommended, but the case is solid...
I still have to drop the skid plate to reach up and attach this, but I have been siting in El Paso ALL FREAKING DAY waiting to get loaded... They failed to inform me this wouldn't be ready till this evening... I am 25 miles away from my favorite place to ride... and can't... OK rant over...

Well I found the culprit... Seems that when I stretched the wire from the relay to the post on the BOTTOM of the starter(new starter was configured this way) the eye connector broke... I did do the test and my relay is good!!! I made an extension for now and will make a whole new solid piece when i tear down for paint...
Thanks!!!
Funny how sometimes we create our own problems, is their any way you can index the new starter so the cable is ok?
You might as well do a "how to" on this replacement starter to save others the headache?
