In need of a master cylinder rebuild kit for the pilot project. I looked on power sports pro and couldn't come up with a kit to service the cylinder. Does anybody offer a kit or do all the parts need to be ordered seperatly?

I think its #13

Go to http://www.servicehonda.com/hard%20part ... s_old.html

Click on Pilot

Then click on Brake Master Cylinder

Look at 13 I think that is for everything in the box with parts 7 and 31 part number 45530-HA8-771 Cylinder Set, Master

I had rebuilt mine few years ago just took lines loose and then removed hole sterring wheel and put on bench. I had ordered new kits from honda. May want to think about cleaning lines with alchol then blowing clean and let dry for an hour then start bleeding with new fluid. What ever you do, do not use any solvents it will ruin any seal you have in. I also removed the front cups cleaned and installed new springs. In the rear I just cleaned up. Before the master rebuild I was getting bad brake fade and now they work really well. Rember to use new washers on the bango bolt if you remove. I also bleed every season replacing most of the fluid with new. A good hand vacume brake bledder will pull in new fluid and save you a lot of time. The vacume pump can be found at auto zone and other cheep and can be used for many thing pressuring up a cylinder for leak down.
