I went to Jones Creek orv area today, It is located east of Vancouver Washinton.
I see people going by my house all the time with motorcycles and quad's heading up to Jones creek, I decided to go up and see if the trails would be wide enough for my FL350.
I sqeezed my ody between 2 boulders at the head of 1 of the trails and was on my way, the trails were narrow , there were a few tight turns around some of the tree's but most of the area was not to bad.
I did get worried when I was going down a hill and looked ahead and there was a bridge that did NOT look very wide but the ody fit on it perfectly, if the ody was 2 inches wider it would not have made it.
there is a local group of riders that do maintanance on the trails so they are mostly in good shape.
After riding for about an hour I took a break for about 30 minutes then went out again, there is a trail that crosses a gravel road so I decided to play around on the road and open up the ody since riding on the trails was kind of slow.
After zipping up and down the gravel road a few times I thought I had gotten a flat tire, the ODY was leaning to the right and the steering was not working correctly.
I stopped on the side of the gravel road to take a look at the ody and a guy that had been following me for a few minutes stopped to see what was going on, then he noticed the ody was missing the top shock bolt on the right side.
I went down to a hardware store and got a bolt and rode for about an hour after that..
It's a great place for motorcycle and 4-wheelers, a bit tight for the ody but it was fun.
And the best part it is free to ride at Jones Creek ORV and it's only about 6 miles from my house
