Without trying to re-invent the wheel here, has any one tried any kind of durable aftermarket seat cover for a FL350 seat?

I bought one of them.
It is nice. Except I learned I need to remove it when not in use to let it dry out.

Anybody have a like new condition pilot seat for about 50 bucks? Ha Ha Ha Ha!!!!!!!!!!!!
I saw that Summit Racing has low back seat covers for about 50 bucks. I was thinking of trying one of these. If I do I'll let everyone know how they work out!

Here's another stupid question......
Has anyone tried to mount a poly type low back seat (like from Summit) into an Odyssey or Pilot seat frame without major modifications to the frame??????

All three of our pilots have really nicely done covers in blue vinyl probably because they were left outside for so long the seats faded, but I have no proof because I have yet to pull the seats out.

If you have a boat shop anywhere near you, you might want to drop in and see what they or their regular upholstery shop would charge, they are usually pretty good on prices since seat reupholstery is like a common thing for boat owners and the marine grade vinyls are very durable. The last boat seat I had done was less than 100 bux, front and back with a pocket on the back and a pilot seat is a lot less work and material.

Just an idea.

I checked with our local upholstery shop and he wanted about 275 bucks to recover the wife's Odyssey seat. I wound up buying a suspension seat from Randy for her. I now have my second Odyssey and I'm too poor to afford another suspension seat. I also don't care for how high the suspension seat sits. I feel like the steering wheel is in my lap!

It looks likw its for one of those aluminum seat pans not the stock fl350 seat. Doesnt look like it has much material on the sides to wrap enough and the top is too narrow

Good visual observation shoubadaba, I didn't catch the fact that it was too narrow at the top. I did notice that it looked way too tall though. Unfortunately the high bidder who wins this thing is in for a rude awakening when he tries to install it on a stock seat!

Judging by the response the seller left after I asked him what it fit and where he got it, the PO probably bought it for the aftermarket seat that is currently installed in the Ody.

How about sewing up a few and selling them at a set fair price to us on this site? There's an awful lot of cracked and torn seats out there.

I have.
And it fit pretty good. Not the perfect fit though. But then my seat was only a fl350 plastic shell when I got it and I had to put foam under it so it wasn't so hard.
I'll take a pic this weekend if I can remember when I'm at my shop.
I'll check the tag and see who sells it.

Awesome! Thank you. My seat is actually in decent shape just a few ugly rips...

I used snaps on the lower sides to hold the cover on.
Easy to unsnap, take off and clean.

It's a RCI racing seat cover. They had a couple of colors to choose from. Not an exact fit but pretty damn close.

No problem,your welcome.
It fits really good on the back, but its a little long on the seat but not by much.
If I did some alterations and shortened the seat bottom you could get a really good fit.
