Wow 3 more just like it? Did your wife not like the color, maybe she could ride one of the other ones. The Works would give an excellent ride. Maybe she needs a more comfortable seat?? You did an excelletn job and if it does sell for 3500 someone will get an EXCELLENT deal. Hope you get at least 5K for it. Good luck

Honestly, I can't seem to get the dam category right when I list them, it has gotten alot of attention and views, had 2 guys call me today about it,so far I happy with the bidding and exposure it has been receiving.521 views since Sunday and 21 people watching it so far-lets see what it sells for huh?Hope for the best-

She just looked at it, sat in and said"this thing is gay-I'm out of here-I'll be at the mall" and that was that-I swear to you-I spent so many hrs on it for her-go figure, LMAO oh well-live and learn. The frame is originally from VFR PILOT a member? here(or no more)I bought it from him way back in the day-anybody remember him here by chance?Powdercoat on suspension is a new "chrome" coat that looks pretty cool indeed,I have another 350 in yellow/black and an orange/red/yellow one too which might be up for sale as well in the future-we will see.
I see one just sold on Ebay for $3750.00 recently, not STIX'S so I hope for the best.

Good!!! Maybe a wise choice, in new Jersey there is not much of a demand for a sand car!!!

Is it possible to email all your old bidders to let them know of the new listing?

wish I could, I was hoping Ebay would send them a email with the new listing, almost like when a auction ends and the item is relisted scenario-
It already has 6 bids on it in 45 minutes so we are moving right along-1625 high bid already so looks to be going in the right direction---we will see.

its amazing how ebay works,I wonder how many people work for them to keep up with stuff like that,or do they just have amazing software that notifies them of irregularities?
I used to sell complete games of redskins{hence the name redskinman} and superbowls and was kicked off ebay for selling copyrighted material,I think my feedback was up to 250 positive, while other people continued to sell games that had feedback over 1000! pissed me off, wondered how they were still able to operate and i was singled out.Was kicked off about 4 yrs ago, last time i checked i couldnt find anybody selling copies of games unless they were nfl liscensed, guess ebay finally eliminated everybody doing it.I got into it bacause I'm a huge skins fan and bought my copies off ebay and had a large collection of games and decided i'd start making copies and selling them too.I also have just about every superbowl on dvd also, certain ones you cant get.The thing is ,these games arent available to buy, theyre all bootleg,if the nfl would market them{for a reasonable price} they would make a shitload of more money.Didnt mean to hijack the thread, good luck with the sale

they called it "circumventing fees" which basicly means I unknowlingly listed it in a category that will not pay them as much on my sale as the amount they stand to make if I listed in "powersports".It really killed my auction though, as most will think the auction is a scam, or I stopped it, and they arent going to rebid it due to the unknown element of it now.I am lucky it has been bid up to 1625 currently, but that's half of mwhat I had before they stopped it on me.We will see.

The least they can do is contact all the people that bid on it before and give them the link

This is what they sent me

Dear speedshop505

Thanks for your interest in this auction-style listing:

230336791251 - 1985 Honda Odyssey fl350

Unfortunately, the item is no longer available for purchase. This is disappointing for everyone, but sometimes it's necessary to protect you as a buyer.

There are three main reasons why we remove listings:

-- The listing doesn't follow eBay guidelines.
-- The item isn't allowed on eBay or can only be listed under certain conditions.
-- The listing contains pictures or words in it that may have created copyright or trademark issues.

If the seller is able to fix the problem and relist the item, we hope you'll bid on it again.

We apologize for the inconvenience and have many other great deals on eBay. Just go to http://www.ebay.com to continue your shopping today. We hope to see you soon.

Thank you,

eBay Inc.

it is wierd how they all of a sudden after 4 days stopped it-I had listed many time in that same category and never had issues-it seems to have really killed the auction, 7 bids, 100 viewings and 2 questions, high bid is 1625 still, real shame really-I'll keep it and let it rust before I sell it for under the reserve at this point-oh well, live and learn I guess.Matter of fact Hares old ody I sold recently in the same category for 2900 and they didn't stop that auction,WTF?

There fees are ridiculous now. I sold a trailer on ebay last month. Selling price was $750. Ebay's cut was an even $150 plus an $11. listing fee. Ebay throws all types of percentages and calculations out there, but you never really know what there cut will be in the end. If I have to sell something like that (higher dollar item) I think I will list the item with my phone number and say that you must contact me before bidding. Then I can make a cash deal with the people and then end the auction. Supposedly ebay has people that read each and every auction - was on 20/20 or dateline a few months ago.

indeed-the new listing fee was 9.70 as to the 35 bucks for the first auction-and after I sell we will see what the fees are for the second auction-----------I am losing my shirt currently on it, thank goodness I set a reserve.
