Maybe someone has one or knows somebody with one somewhere near me.

Don't want one that's all beat up... Will pay a good bit for a nice one.

Also could trade up or down for one, have a couple 6.5 diesel trucks, a 98 MarkVIII LSC and a 88 21' Cuddy boat.

Email me .... SLF_951 at Verizon dot net

Thanks, Steve

i think all that PM me and email crap is just that. Why waste the time? Throw the price out there either as buyer or seller.

I have a freshy fresh 89 pilot that has seen very little use, not quite showroom but close. I paid $7,200. cost me a few hundred a few hundred so I figure $7,500. into it and we have only rode it twice, we are keeping it just for sand use it hasnt seen. Not looking to get rid of it but it is taking up space and if someone gave me $8,500. I would sell. So there.

I'll tell you one thing. It cost me 959 bucks to get it shipped.... So just under 5000. I feel that including shipping is reasonable when figuring what you have into something... And I also feel that this buggy was worth the total price.

The closest one I found was bone stock-4500-and about 4 hours away from me. So, if I figured for time and cost of the trip, this one that is all hooked up was a WAY better value. Getting extra parts with it as well...

The only pictures I have of it are these.

I don't have it yet, should be Wed-Thur this week. The seller didn't say anything about if it had foot pedals.

Yeah, I couldn't even find any info about Ohlins aplications for a Pilot, custom built/ordered? Has two after market clutches, an after market pipe, and an extra FMF pipe(couldn't find any info on that either) Spare head and Tie rode ends... Nerf bars... Has a rack and pinion set up on it too.... I liked the body work myself... All in all I feel that I did very good on a buggy set up in this way. Was rebuil last year too...

We'll see when she gets here I guess!!

probably ordered from Lude back in the day or from WEED at pilotodysseyperformance.com I bet.the OHLINS I AM SPEAKING OF.
I thought for some reason the listing had foot pedals listed, but I have been wrong many times in the past-- :-)
do a search here, I am sure theres a thread on FMF pipes, I know for sure theres information about the Q2 silencers for sure as the DB'S are a issue at many riding locations.
I know back in the day Hoser had the 'WHEELMAN PROJECT" which had a rack and pinion in it, search for that here as well.

Thanks for the info Mudbogger..

Thanks for the welcome Turbotexas. I'm familar with the Butler area. Only about 45-50 minutes from where I live(About 17 minutes from the actual city of Pittsburgh).

Yeah, the Pilot really is different than what I found avalible. I like the mods done to it. Good timing I guess. I was going to buy a hooked up Oddy for 3000 a few weeks ago. Was driving two hours away to sell my NSR250 Rothmans to a guy that was about ten minutes from the Oddy. Guy ended up blowing me off while I was up there and I basicly made a free delivery of the bike :( So it kinda worked in my favor for getting this Pilot instead.

Talked to the guy shipping it tonight, now expected delivery day is Friday next week.... Can't wait.

Cool, I'll have to hook up with him I guess... Us Pittsburgh'rs are a different breed...

Already contacted Trackside, he's real close too. Hopefully I'll get to go for a ride with him next weekend.

Congrats on the Pilot purchase, that one looks like fun and basically race ready. I'm in Pittsburgh too, maybe one of these days we could meet up for a ride. If your machine is ready to go, you should bring it to the GNCC race in a couple weeks, more racers is always better.

First ride in the Pilot will probably make my mind up for sure. Would be a great time I'm sure !! What part of the city do you live? I'm right by the airport..... Feel fre to email at slf_951@verizon.net
