My friend is looking for a more comfortable and better seat for his Pilot.

I searched and saw the Super G being recommended but wondered if there were others? I can help him with custom mounts if a bolt in is not available. As well as a skid plate and a heat shield. But he was wondering if there are any bolt ins with that already on them?

Any input on aftermarket Pilot seats and why you might like them better than stock? For comfort. Ease of install. Etc. Thanx Bill

that's a step in the right direction. Have you sat in one of those seats?

I may question the high backside. It may hit the helmet a lot? (It also may be good support against whiplash.)

I AINT fond of the seat mount they show. All that fancy cut work and lightning is just crap to snag if you happend to bottom out on anything. And no ones gonna see it unless you flip. The seat mount/skipplate SHOULD be smooth IMO.

www.odysseysalvage.com Randy has one for the ody I know and like! I think he can put the mounting brackets to fit the pilot as well! I cut the high loop off of mine not because it hit the helmet, but interfered with my large horseshoe collar. I figured there was a net behind me and I doubt I would get rear ended enough to get whiplash!
I added a skidplate that stay on the seat when I lift it out of the buggy. I also replaced the plastic skid that the ody had with aluminum. I like the feel and comfort of the seat. I did have to go and relace the seat after a few rides as if sagged... LOL I have lost wieght since so it doesn't sag bad now LOL

Stupid question here-but whats wrong with the stock seat-I have used the Beards and ATVR SUPER SEATS, and honestly for my height, weight(which has increased since marriage-LMAO)THE STOCK SEAT allows the most room for me and the most comfort-has the stocker brought you issues?I would like to buy it if you don't need it, pending a picture and condition of it as well.

Heres Randy's Pilot Seat at Odyssey Salvage. Should be a "bolt in". The seat is located aboput 3/4 of the way down the page. http://www.odysseysalvage.com/Pilot%20Parts%20Page.htm
