I need a pic of the way the headlight bracket bolts up to the roll bar on an '80 Odyssey FL250.
I also need a bracket or roll bar.

on the 80 it was still a round one on the front right? was it 81 or 82 they switched to the overhead headlight? I think it just clamps on it should have a Y bracket that secures on either side of the light. if yours is missing parts it might be easier to find a 6 volt off road light on ebay.

No. It was the last round headlight and was mounted up top to the frame.
My '78 has the headlight mounted up front but I want it mounted up top.
The roll bar from my '78 does not have the bracket coming off the roll bar.
I am not talking about the thin "Y" bracket but the main bracket that the "Y" bracket attaches to.

Does anyone here have a pic of this area on a '80?

Any help would be great.

the 80 headling is 12v

if you look in the addendum section of the downloadable manul it has a great picture and breakdown of the headlight.

it is a Y with a single bolt.
let me know if you still need a picture and i will see if i can scan one.

I am referring to the part the "Y" bracket screws / bolts into attached to the roll bar.

it looks like it is a welded on part of the roll bar. you might just want to drill a hole and tap it, or drill all the way through and secure it with a longer bolt and locknut

I have the manual and the cut sheet that was posted.
As you can see from the cut sheet, it does not give a great amount of detail from the angle the image was taken from.
That is why I was requesting an image from an owner of a '80 model Odyssey showing the area in more detail.

I do believe it was welded to the frame...
I am only asking for an image of it that shown the area in detail.

I do not know how do be more specific than what I have been.

Any help would be great.

Thanks
