I would do the same as well, hook the pump up so its idiot proof. I would run the fan with a thermoswitch so it comes on by itself but have a separate switch on the wheel so you can turn it on manually as well.

i want to have the ability of turning the pump on and off.that way in the winter months i can let the motor (( Internal Combustion Engine ? )) build up some heat before i turn the pump on.

Nice. Sorry i have not got back to you on the plug...busy moving back home to Cheyenne finally. Be sure to put a large fuel filter in the tube line high up on the cage. Balancer oil will go up the line while riding and needs a place to gather or it will be blown on the ground and you will be refilling frequently. Also mount the filter vertical so that it can drain back into the balancer. Be sure to run the discharge all the way back down to keep out dust and any oil will drip on the ground and not splatter on everything. Been there done that too.

Gary

that's ok gary.honestly i don't think your plug would have worked on my pump.from what i found out at the stealership there is different plugs for the year of the car it was made for.this pump i have is used on the a7 audi as a rear heater pump for the car.he had to special order this one for me.he had other plugs for different year cars and none would fit this one(stupid in my opinion).but thank you anyway gary.

Make sure that safety wire doesn't come loose or it is gonna do a number on the bottom end.Mabye re=design it for outside the motor (( Internal Combustion Engine ? ))?on top of the plug might work?

its not wraped around the plug.its going through the plug and the hose it cant come loose.i didnt like the idea of just using a sealer.its a very tight fit but my luck MURPHY would find a way to rip it out LOL.im leaving the end of the plug freighed up for the liquid steel to have something to grab onto

its all done by hand.aluminum polish a few different style hemostats (old school roach clips)with cotton balls for the hard to reach areas a few beers LOL and time.if the aluminum is real bad you can use brass brushes to clean up the real bad spots but nothing more aggressive than that or youll scratch the aluminum.ive done many engines over the yrs and by far the honda aluminum cleans up better than all the other jap bike manufactures.

sounds like a lot of work but sure came out sweet. Do you mind sharing what type of alum polish you used, brand, where you bought it, etc. I'd love to polish mine up someday. keep up the good work!

The cover was from a John Deere sled. Not a tractor. Just in case anyone is looking for one, I found the clutch listed as John deer snowmobile clutch on eBay. it wasn't listed what model it came from. I just wanted the other parts to fix one of my 102c's

If you don't need that other top and bushing I might have use for it I might put that clutch it came off back together. My neighbor gave me a 440 sled with good motor (( Internal Combustion Engine ? )), I might put it in a extra 250 frame I have. I think that clutch might fit.
