I am looking for a new carb for my FL350. The shop said the one on it is a genaric one that is sub-par. Anyone have one laying around?

Also, they had to cut the clutch off because it was seized on. Anyone have any suggestions on a clutch? I was looking at the Comet clutches, but they seem to have two different sizes.

Thanks

I am only expressing my opinion... Unless this shop works on these buggies often (I doubt it) lets figure out what carb you have first! beccause what you wind up with will depend on a few other things!Q The stock 32mm carb is a great carb for low end power, or torque. there are bigger carbs you can use also, but the stock is not "sub-par" until we know what you are shooting for power wise... Did the shop do any kind of porting to the Engine? did they port it for revs? If so that will help decide the size of carb! You have the stock pipe or an aftermarket?

The clutch would not have had to been cut off! there are secrets found here that help in those kind of situations! I like the powerbloc clutch! easy to tune and maintain... But if you buy it from the right place you will never have to tune it... make sure you order the clutch tool also no mater what clutch you buy!

I hope this will help!
Hurry up and get it running so you can come race!!!

They are rebuilding the motor (( Internal Combustion Engine ? )) which is going to include seals, bearings a new piston and possibly boring the sleave if they have to. They are just not getting into it because of the clutch problem. The previous owner rode it a lot in an area of beach dunes, so it was exposed to a lot of salt.

Reason I ask is make sure they relieve the exhaust bridge and drill the holes in the piston...

Do some research on the forum for Piston to Jug clearances for the Wiseco piston.
