Air up them tires, change that belt, mount that National Number Plate securely, cause we're going racing!

They would like to see some more guys racing out there, this is a cheap way to go racing. Anybody looking for cheap thrills GO find a pilot! they are getting pretty low lately, $4-5K should snag a nice, ready to go pilot, $2-3K for a POS and your racing.

Most of the Odysseys and Pilots are pretty close to stock and mods are generally cheap anyway its best to leave close to stock for dependability. Don't be intimidated by the word RACE or GNCC, most of us are fat old men in their 40s driving their go carts around a GNCC track, in other words its low key fun, go as fast or slow as you like and no experience is required to win. Fun in Motion

Looks like Six races to screw up my work life, can't wait.

Round 2 March 6 The Maxxis General Washington, GA

Round 4 April 10 Pirelli Big Buck Union, SC

Round 7 May 22 Moose Mountain Ridge Somerset, PA

Round 8 June 5 Wiseco John Penton Millfield, OH

Round 12 Oct. 9 ITP Power Line Park St. Clairsville, OH

Round 13 Oct. 23 The Ironman Crawfordsville, IN

The Good News for the 2010 GNCC UTV season is that there are 6 races to try to beat last years Pilot/Odyssey class Series Points Champion (Hare) for your own National Number Plate.
The BAD News is that the Race promoter is not sure that they will have a Pilot/Ody class at ALL 6 events. They feel they are not getting enough turn out at some of the events. We (Trackside and I) think we can convince the promoter to have a Pilot/Ody class at all 6 events if we can get 6 or more buggies at every event. I know its early but we would like to get an estimated head count of who thinks they can make the 6 races listed above. You Odyssey guys need to get them dusted off and show the Pilots how to run thru the woods. It does not look Like All of the Team Trackside racers can make the GA and SC races. This is were we need some help from you guys from the South to pull thru and Race em if you got em. The cool thing about the Pilot Odyssey class is that its a run what you brung class. So we all run the same class. If you race a GNCC you will not be disapointed. Just ask Hare ( I have never seen a guy so Happy to be all covered in mud as Hare was at the end of those races). SO PLEASE post if you think you can make a race, so that we can have a six race season. Also when I finish 1st at all six events I want at least 6 other racers there to witness the beat down of Hare and Trackside.

Hare will have the two Hoser Prepped Pilots (HPP) at all these races ready to defend my title, Ga. might not happen for me but otherwise be very affraid.

This is what we would like the start of every GNCC to look like. Plus a few Odysseys.

I will be at Rounds 7, 8, and 12 for sure.

Rounds 4 and 13 are maybes, and Round 2 is most likely not possible for me.

I better get started working on my buggy again, I need to win some races this year instead of DNFing.

I'm in for rounds 7 - 8 - 12 for sure.... Good chance for 13 as well. I would love to make 2 and 4, but I'll have to see what works doing at the time.... Heck, I still got to finish putting my buggy back together first anyway, kinda hard when you're doing it outside in the snow!

At this time it looks like there will be NO Pilot / Odyssey class at Round 2 (GA) and Round 4 (SC).
This could be changed if we get a half a dozen confirmed for those races, but at this time its not looking possible.

that's a damn shame, although quite far, GA would be a hell of a nice spot, if its the same as i remember they have a cool sand gravely dirt and of course clay.

we do have 3 confirmed riders for GA and SC. If none of your crew can make them (especially Trackside and Pilotguy 5) I guess we will have to recruit 3 more so I can strech out that early lead.

For real I could go either way, would be nice to race in couple of months and then again but it would be also nice to make the season a bit less demanding

Since none of the series winners of the Pilot class attended the banquet, the awards were delivered to me. Does anyone know who gets the big cup? Awards are for 1st, 2nd and 3rd in the series. See pic below.

I will not be entering a revolt into a gncc. Pilots barely clear between the trees.
Revolt would be fun on the main trails/utv track at DP! :-)
