Ya if anyone pays over 2k they have no clue as to what it will take to get it running, but they will find out.

If the bottom end is rusted up it wont be cheap to fix my guess is the Engine will take a lot of money to get running again, that for new crank, bearings, seals, gaskets, piston, rings, bore cylinder etc. buyer should add 1000 bux to the price to repair the Engine, right now your at 3800 their are plenty of running non rusted up sun baked Pilots for sale for about 4000.00 I don't see any value in this one for 2800.

That is if the bottom end will come apart, I have seen first hand what the moisture in Florida can do to engines, in a few months it can take aluminum parts and fuse them together when you take them apart it pulls metal off the fused surfaces.

I would take it at 2k but not any more... IMO its already over priced but that's just me, what I see is a very rusted up Pilot, some of the plastic tells me it spent a lot of time in the sun, the seat shows signs it sat with water in the seat, I bet their was as much water in the bottom end of the Engine, good luck getting that Engine apart, you can see the white rust on the piston, you can see it on the carb, good chance the carb is junk.

I wish the new owner good luck I guess their could be some value in it as parts but your going to have to d a bunch of cleaning of parts, it could be a value to someone wanting to to a complete resto and already has a sled Engine to install.

No doubt some ebayomo will run up the price.
I would buy it for the right price just for the cases, trany, axle cvs, rear knuckles, hubs, frt hubs, knuckles cage.
WTF is welded on the frame above the tub?

Did you notice the 4 switches on the steering wheel? I bet that bar had something to do with those switches, maybe lights.

Somebody with 0 feedback pulled there $4000.00 bid, the Seller must have gotten paranoid and had HIS buddy take off that high bid thinking it would not sell for that high of a price and he would be stuck trying to auction it off again.

Current bid: US $1,525.00

I hope who ever bids on it has an idea what they are doing and thinks long and hard before they buy, hopefully its someone that has dealt with rusted up POS ATV's in the past if not they are in for a learning experience they probably wont enjoy.

So someone bought it for 2500 then refused to pay for it once he seen it in person so now its for sale again?

I strongly suggest before you bid at the very least you get about 50 detailed pictures and study them close.

Wow that is one of the worst Pilots i have ever seen......... someone cut the bar out that crosses the foot tub and scabbed a square tube pos in it place, no cage bolts, no seat bolts, it looks like they added dome lights in the foot tub and on the radiator plastic, the crank is solid rust and probably junk, and im sure the list goes on and on.

looks like in the new picture he aired up the tires and sprayed it down with the hose. he didn't evn cove the Engine, there lies the piston and rod with water all over it. one big rust bucket.

Ask him to remove the key and take a pic of the ignition for you I bet that key is rusted in too

Consider that crank junk with that much rust I doubt it could be salvaged.

Carb I bet is junk

Water pump is probably junk unless anti freeze was trapped inside the whole time.

After seeing the new pictures I would have to see it myself before I offered him 2k for it, anybody remember that Pilot Pilotcat bought from a guy in south Florida? The whole frame the tubing was rusted out from the inside out he took a real bath on that one.
