Hey , I ordered some 81mm pistons and rings ( I'm rebuilding two at once) Had a machine shop bore the cyl out .005 over for the clearance issue. And i was wondering if anyone has ever tried to do the ceramic coating on the piston top and the cyl heads to reduce the heat ? I have a local guy who does this kind of work. He also said there is a coating for the cyl walls to reduce friction ? I guess this is becoming very popular in high performance and race motors. Any one have any experience ?
