With the key on, do you have power to the starter itself when you push and hold the starter button?

Your starter could be in need of a rebuild.

Check what Randman asked.

I would tap on the starter while someone is pressing the starter button.

I would pull the cover off the steering wheel and then take apart the starter button and clean all the contacts well. Be sure not to lose the spring and I think there is a ball bearing that can get away from you. Since they have been sitting for a while i would take apart the starter relay and clean all the contacts. Good luck.

Check the wires coming off the starters solenoid, and the change switch wires as well, it may be the problem. You have no power at the starter, check it coming out of the soleniod going back to the change switch.

I have bridged the relay, and the starter does turn over, I have checked the ground on the frame in front of motor (( Internal Combustion Engine ? )), I removed bolt cleaned area, Someone mentioned to take apart relay? isnt that a sealed unit, I did clean the post on it. . I wish I had more time to work on it, my time is very limited. thanks for the replys..
