This will be the 3rd race in the 6 race Pilot Racing Series for 2010 GNCC. This should be one not to miss, I bet we have quite a good turn out. Terri and I plan to stay the weekend as are a few others, this should be a good party time too. I think we may have 3 beautiful ladies ready to rip it up in their pilots and show the boys how its done.

Round 7 May 22 Moose Mountain Ridge Somerset, PA

We would love to see some more guys racing out there, this is a cheap way to go racing. Anybody looking for cheap thrills GO find a pilot! they are getting pretty low lately, $4-5K should snag a nice, ready to go pilot, $2-3K for a POS and your racing.

We can carpool, between Mikey123 and Me we can have one or two motorhomes and or a dedicated tow rig and party all the way down and back, spilt the fuel and have a blast of a weekend. Most of the Odysseys and Pilots are pretty close to stock and mods are generally cheap anyway its best to leave it close to stock for dependability. Don't be intimidated by the word RACE or GNCC, most of us are fat old men in their 40s driving their go carts around a GNCC track, in other words its low key fun, go as fast or slow as you like and no experience is required to win. Your not going to get hurt. Fun in Motion.

It is not tough or hard as long as you don't try to fly around the track, only if you really push it do you get flat tires and crash and all that. It seems like a short time to ride but it ends up being all day with prep and sign up, hanging out with the guys.

GA was a cake walk, SC was even easier, guess they are responding to the whinning from the UTVs, PA has some rock, plenty of hills and few high speed blasts, but its the closest for us east coast guys. Come on bitches, saddle up that pony!

DAMNIT come ride a GNCC!

Lets get a head count. Who is trying to make it to PA?

The Count is 14

Hare ------------------------ confirmed
Team Squid (Terri) --------- confirmed
Team Dooey ( Mikey123)-----confirmed
Team Mobey ( Pilotdick)------confirmed
Team Judge (NJ Rider)---------confirmed
Team Trackside (Trackside)---times two confirmed
Team Dulaney (Pilotguy5) -----times two confirmed
Team Nut ( Pilotnut) ------???
Team Stoneman----------------Confirmed
Cafercr --------------------------???
Mad Max -------------------------Confirmed
JustMtb44------------------------ Confirmed
slf-951---------------------------???
Afastcar ------------------------times two maybe???
outtakontroll-----------------------Confirmed
Team Muddbogger -------------- Confirmed

Don't be offended if i missed you, these are the peeps i remember expressing interest, speak up we need as many as possible, if we got a full count on just who is listed there would be 18 pilot/odysseys racing a GNCC that be totally crazy

The team stuff was kind of a mistake when we filled out the entries, they ask for a team name on the form, even thought i was slick by not filling mine in but they got me by mis spelling my name a second time, its Warwick damn it, so now on the series points i am in 1st place twice and Mikey is in second place twice Terri and Guy are tied for 3rd but she is actually 3rd and Guy is 4th. I am sure they will straighten it out by or after the next race.

Great to hear guys, numbers can only go up!

Since this event looks like it may attract the most riders yet I think we should have a special prize for the winner beyond the regular GNCC stuff. Maybe something like Pilot Odyssey Racing King of the Year. The PORKY award?

We may be sleeping on a trailer deck ourselves, hope it don't rain. I should have the MH decently together by then butt this one only has 2 spare beds and one is taken, your welcome to the other one.

I will be there for sure. Wheather to race or not remains to be seen. I currently have some issues with my oddy that I don't think I can have fixed by then due to financial reasons. My fan don't run long enough off of the battery to keep the Engine cool because there is no regulator rectifier to put juice back into my battery. And I need bearings and seals for the left rear axle. But I will be there to watch if nothing else.

Just discussed things with the wife and im in. I have a 350. I need to know what It cost to register or whatever. Or the link to the website etc. I don't want to show up unprepared I searched for the other link with what all we should bring but couldnt seem to find it for some reason. I need to start preparing now. And still need to figure how im getting the odyssey there since I have no vehicle with a hitch on it to pull the trailor anymore. Im sure I can figure something out though. But still I want to gather as much info beforehand as possible. Im just eager to meet some of you guys who know all this stuff about these wicked buggies. lol.

How about a holeshot award?
Maybe everyone pitch in 10 bucks and holeshot guy takes it all?
Or just a trophy will do!

In Rodeo, contestants pay there own entry fee's and a Jackpot is paid! If everyone "entered" a Private jackpot amongst yourselfs and split the winnings 50%-30%-20% it would make things interesting... BUT the split would also be determined by number of contestants... if only 5 entered winner take all...
5-9 contestants 60%-40% and the above mentioned for 10 or more racers...
say $40.00 above what gncc charges still makes it fun and affordable!

just an option...

Team Trackside will have two Pilots committed to the GNCC in Somerset. First and Second place are now spoken for. If the rest of you guys are happy with third or higher, come on out and enjoy the view.

We were starting to get worried, thought you might of forgot about us.

Which one are you riding in the first or second place pilot? and Who is driving the other pilot? :-)

The Terror in the Team Squid backed pilot might be a handful for you newbies, she knows how to finish a race that's for sure.

I have been travelling a lot. This is my busy time of year. I was not going to make this one but a trip to Ontario got cancelled. Plus, PilotGuy was crying because I was not coming, so he is happy now. I will not be able to go to the John Penton GNCC 2 weeks later. My trips in June include VT to VA to GA to NY.

I have a secret weapon on the second Pilot. Let me just say "He has won more than one OVERALL in a GNCC race in the past." I might even have to settle for second. PilotGuy understands that he will have to settle for third, at best.
