Hi
My air compressor motor (( Internal Combustion Engine ? )) took a dump today so I need another, haven't done any researching yet thought I would ask here first figured I might get lucky and find a member that sells motors or even rebuilds them.

I attached a picture of the data plate off the motor (( Internal Combustion Engine ? )) itself.

My first stop will probably be Farm & Fleet they use to sell motors like this and usually had good prices and name brands.

Magnatek is still in business the last I knew. They are concentrating on generators now. Single phase motors are usually a throw away item as the labor and basic parts cost more than a replacement one. Try grainger or mcmaster carr for replacement motors? They are both industrial supply houses.

I am going to give a call to a local motor (( Internal Combustion Engine ? )) re-builder and see what they say years ago rule of thumb was anything 5hp an more was about 50% cheaper to rebuild, I see burned windings inside so much for their protection lol it did trip the over load on the motor (( Internal Combustion Engine ? )) and not the breaker, yeah if I gotta order it will probably be grainger or mcmaster carr hopefully I can get local and save on the shipping charges.

Good on ya Bullnerd,at least this might compensate a bit for when Hooser got shafted on his last goodwill deed.
