Who knows about these? I recently found a pair of rear, and they look to have some of the same parts off of the stock shocks? Does anyone have a pair, or photo's of how they looked before previous owner molested???
I have both the fronts and rears, and will be wanting to try them out just for giggles!

Did you have the coil overs painted white? Mine are blue just like the stock rears, but are a 1/4 shorter, the shaft is 7 1/4" long, the eye to eye is 3/8" longer!
They also had what appeared to be the plastic protectors but they were upside down/backwards from the stock setup...
Is this the long travel setup brooks found for you???

I did not paint them. Mine too had the plastic protectors but they were so brittle that they just fell apart. Yes this is the long travel set up that brooks found for me.
I also have fox coilovers on the briggs car. They have the blue springs and are much beefier than what is on the pilot.

I got these cleaned up and mounted! I took the springs and put the tighter coils up at the top. I then cut the plastic down to about an inch to keep the springs from moving around. I like the ride so far, just around the yard, want to try it at a rougher spot this weekend!

Turbotexas: How would you compare the Fox shocks to Works Shocks for a pilot? I'm looking to replace all four shocks on my pilot....

Well the Works will be easier to find! I don't know if fox makes these anymore? I called the Service Dept. at Fox HQ in California, (619-768-1800) and asked about rebuilding these, and they stated that all the parts should still be available!
If you can find a set on Flea bay I would certiaanly get them! I rode a good hour hard yesterday and was impressed, still need a bit of fine tuning but really rode great as they are!!!

The fox shocks supposedly use odd ball size seals and internal parts according to the people at works shocks. This helps prevent other companies from repairing and or messing around with fox's product - ultimately the part has to come from fox, so I am told.
