I have seen hoser's post on an A-arm bushing kit made and sold by Rockman from a few years ago, but there is really no update on the performance. If anybody out there has tried this kit, please give me your opinions, and also let me know if they might still be available.

I used his bushings for well over a year then removed them to go to the extended a-arms
they were like new when removed, my new setup uses hiem joints so I didn't use them
one day I will install them on my wife's machine, I highly recommend them!

Far as I know he is still selling them, I think this is a current email rocketman_pilot@hotmail.com

I highly recommend the bushing kits that Rocketman put together. They are far superior to the spherical bearings Honda designed for the pilot a-arms and they don't "blow out"....

I used his Suzuki bushing kit for my a-arm build. I put grease fittings on them. We hit some muck and water on our rides. Peace of mind to be able to keep the goo from getting in too far. I think I gave them a shot of grease twice over the season of 870 miles. I recently had it all apart for cleaning and service and the bushings and sleeves were like new. Good stuff.

Thanks afastcar. I just ordered some today. He is very nice on the phone and is using Priority mail small flat rate shipping so it is only $6.50 for shipping from the east coast to the west coast. $105.50 total. I will post a pic when i get them.

I got the bushings yesterday. These bushings are very nice. Other bushings that I have bought in the past for my autos, like energy suspention, did not have the grooves for the grease notched into them. After about six monthes or so they would start to do that famous eurothane squeek. I used to make my own notches to solve the squeek problem. These are already finished nicely. The instrustions do say to put in a zert fitting. I am not going to do that because I would rather inspect them then clean and regrease them as needed. I use an AMSOIL Synthetic Water Resistant Grease that I have been using for over ten years on watercraft, trailers, etc.

Nice

Yeah grease the hell out of everything, bolt, nut, bushings, especially the steel bushing so it cant rust, you will like the bushings over the factory spherical bearings.

Is there a part number for the bushing kit for the Pilot?

I looked at ATVbushing's website and either I am blind or its not listed.

You just need to order a Honda ATV kit because they pretty much use the same size on most of the Honda ATV's. When you call him he will ask what vehicle I think just for his records.

I installed my kit last night, did you have to grind down the steel tubes to make them fit?

I have a question. Why is everyone switching from hyme style to bushings? Honda spent alot of time engineering these and they still use the same thing on there quads today. Just wondering

I changed because the clips kept coming out of the grooves some stay in and are never a problem others keep coming out the bushings cured the problem.
