Hi Guys,

I am in need of a good working gas tank fuel level sensor. I checked Service Honda and they don't list a price so i guess that means they are now discontinued.

Any help in locating one would be appreciated.

Cheers

I just got off the phone with service Honda... I ordered an axle for the 350r and the carb boot...
I wanted to check on the status... they could not give me any info besides the fact they had it in their computer...
I asked if they had the "discontinued" carb holder/intake boot for the 350r and he told me he would not
have the answer until later in the day... he would have to call Honda to get the parts and at that point
he would know if it was available... "we do not store parts here sir"... "we get them from Honda"
I will know more later I guess... I called him at 8:15 this more Tue 6/29/10 I placed the order at 10:15 am
Mon the 28th so I really need to sit back and relax I guess...
So my point with all this dribble... they might not give you an answer straight away... It might take some time...
He was very cordial...

Hi Go oddy,

I did call Hillside honda and they told me the sensor was on "back order" with no ETA. The guy i spoke to suggested i call around the dealers and try to find one with the sensor in stock.

I got the feeling i would be waiting a long time for stock to arrive.

Cheers

Hi Britboard,

I checked the site and they are showing stock but at 63 euros, that's like $100USD isn't it? In the states the sensor is $46 to $60 USD.

Cheers

This still doesn't mean they have the parts if they come back discontinued they will just credit your card back.
