What Dave didn't mention that I was doing donuts and got lust in my own dust and smacked sideways into a burm and got a bunch of crap stuck between the bead and the Douglas wheel!

Hmmmmmm.....Bead Lock time?

I'll post pics of the Ludwig mine area tonight!

We rode about 30 miles round trip on the first ride from the resort. As Turbo mentioned some of the trail was flat out hauling ass at 61.1 mph for my top speed.....of course Turbo's Pilot was a little faster! There was an old railroad bed that ran from the mine to the settlement of Hudson which the resort now occupies. The old railroad bed was kind of whooped out but fun none the less!

Here are pictures of the Ludwig mine we rode to. I believe the mine was in operation from around 1885 to 1909. Pretty cool history stuff!

If we were to try to cover all of the trails it would have taken a couple of days! I'll be going out there again soon and hopefully drag Captbruce and his other half Kim out there with us.

Bruce, we will have to reserve a spot around the end of July. There is a great spot in the resort that has a nice grass spot between two camp sites with electric and water.

Ok I am in prescott valley, and none of my POOA brothers are here yet tr help with the pitting! I PMed everyone and I figured they can't make it!
So I have 2 short course motos Saturday! The track is much more challenging 2 miles long than the glen helen track I was at a few weeks ago!
Sunday I race again in the desert course section!
I don't have my laptop connection out here so check my facebook page for updates!
Come out and say hi if ytour in the area!

Third place finish in my first moto! I thought for sure there were 2 broken down UTVs on the course and I was a close second behind a UTV I had followed the whole race! I blew the holeshot because I couldn't find a place to clean out the loaded bottom end! I had to have spotters do do this off the course! All and all since there was no practice laps allowed, and the other racers are local I think I did pretty damn good! My revalved fox coilovers worked great, but the tracks whoop section didn't have enough room to get wound up to skip acroos the tops!
Yall missed a good time guys!

Moto number 2 gave me a second place finish, which also gave me a second place overall finish/plaque! One long race today!

I am back on my laptop, so I can edit this, Blackberry is hard to type on lol

Well todays race wasn't as good as I would have liked! The right rear inner CV boot failed! Hell it fell apart! These were teamtech boots I bought from weed, and I will have to look at my pilot project thread to see when I installed! I really thought They should have lasted longer? Hell the other side. OEM still, Is still in great shape and no signs of wear!
I only got 20 miles done, and was 20 minutes away from finishing!

Well Saturdays race was a lot of fun! 15-20 minutes, can remember which lol I had decided to just learn the course and watch the others in the class... I thought I finished better than I did because I saw 2 utv's trackside, and had the last one in sight the whole way! But I guess I was seeing things... When we came to the finish line the first place guy was already out of the utv and his helmet??? I will have to wait to see the lap times!
The second moto was an all out race from the start to the finish... I was able to pull away in the long straight aways, but the 192 utv would catch me when it came to the corners. I was abvle to read there lines since I followed them the first moto, so I was able to cut off there favorite lines and make them either follow me, or go to a new line...
My Fox Coilover Shocks that www.downsouthmotorsports rebuilt worked great! I was able to charge the whoops section, but the track didn't have enough room for me to build up some speed to float the top... There was a gppd rythm section in the back half of the track, and several good small jumps!
My GOPRO HERO didn't get any footage because the batteries were bad... Sorry Adnoh! And others lol
