Hmm, Derek, yeah, real piece of work......

I asked him once why he was selling 3 motor (( Internal Combustion Engine ? )) mount rebound stoppers together for $70 when the 250's only use 2 and he called me "the eBay odyssey Nazi".......

He then proceeded to ban me from bidding on his auctions.

So I had to resort to using the wife's account to buy parts from him (only when I couldn't get them elsewhere).

I in turn banned him from bidding on my auctions and he got really pissed off and sent me a couple of choice emails with a slew of expletives. He and Oddatv would routinely buy NOS parts from me and resell them at double of triple their actual worth using the "discontinued" or "rare" descriptions. In most cases the parts weren't discontinued and there's no such thing as a "rare" 250 part, they made close to 90K of them so there a truckloads of 250 parts out there, you just have to look.

If you spend some time on eBay you will find plenty of actual discontinued 250 parts at dirt cheap prices, I do it all the time, just last night I found 15 discontinued NOS 250 parts for $1.95-$3.00 each.

Oddatv just plain lies in some of his auctions, for example, he was selling the driven clutch cam buttons as "rare AND "discontinued" for $12-14 when Honda list is $3.07, and they are readily available for $2.40 at Service Honda........

If they were actually discontinued I could understand doubling the price, but 4X + ???

The only way that would work is if you had three Odyssey FL250's and bought two sets.
Does not make sense to me either.
I guess I don't know your ebay store. What is it? If they buy from you...you must have things I need.
I can't do the chassis right now. I'm still looking locally for a EEE cage on c-list everyday.
The last things I'm looking for on my restoration are hard to find so it's a waiting game that blows.
Have you got the warehouse story from you know who?

They are both well known liars and thieves.

Maybe you have seen this before?

When you lie and jack up the price 4x more than you can buy it from a dealer that is what it makes you, don't worry I don't expect you to understand.

I think he might be referring to your lack of understanding of what the point behind my original response to your post was.

I refrained from saying what I really thought and only came marginally close when I said I was pissed.

Don't expect anyone to come running to your side when you make one post on how to fix your damaged part and then proceed to post it in the for sale section.

IMO that wheel is worth $50 tops, and only to the right person.

$30 for the plastic cover and $20 for the switch. The sticker and grips are no big deal and the handle itself is trash unless repaired.

In fact, if you could find a good plastics place and have the cover duplicated you could probably sell several hundred on eBay for $25-30 each. Derek tried that, but he used a REALLY badly damaged cover for a prototype mold that had so many scratches and cracks that the new ones were CHIT and he had the gall to sell them for $40 each as "perfect for that restoration".

I understand what you are saying. The parts fixed so I don't see it as trash. It is ok if it's worth that to you. Not much less than I think. I have not ripped anyone off. Yet you guys talk as if I have. I don't blame myself for buying the parts I needed for my build. It's mine so I can. I will give anyone a chance and those two have not done me wrong yet.
I have two new covers in bags. One goes on my Odyssey and I looked into a place that could duplicate them. The mold price was very high. Too much for me to afford. Anyways, I will let someone else do that.
Remember my point when it comes to purchasing nos parts...if eBay was the only place I could find the parts I had no other choice to buy them from them two. Does not make me a crook.
