yes I am buying a triple eee!!! I finally got things lined up where I can comfortably pull the trigger and buy Brooks triple E!
I am headed back out west with a load, and next weekend I'll be picking up the new ride! I will spend the week getting used to the ride so I can do well in this race!!!
I blame this all on you SlickRick!!!

Oh boy new Turbo vision, caint wait. Keep it up and your gona need a bigger trailer. Hard to believe your boards with the pilot already or is is a matter of weapon of choice. Congrats.

Almost forgot, good job Slick Rick.

I'm not bored with the pilot, I just need to get the suspension set up like I want with it! I haven't decided if I want the Works shocks like you sent me to try, or go with a Long travel... I most likely will do a long travel, just not sure which one yet!!! Weekend at your place for lessons and cold ones might be what it takes to get motivated!!!
Several months ago I drooled over Brooks EEE when I was at his place riding my new Pilot... I mentioned to him if he ever came across one like his for sale to let me know!!!
Well that Rascal SlickRick saw a picture on Craigs list and tried to buy this go-kart he saw in the back ground of another item for sale! Brooks was kind enough to offer me the first dibs on it, and was patient enough to let me get my finances set up too...
So now I will soon own a piece of racing History, and will hopefully make some history of my own!!!

that's a nice looking car. I bet it was the yellow that sold you or was it the expert sticker. I see lots of goodies on the car. Youll be happy I'm sure. I'm heading to the race shop this morning for a talk and hope to come home with tube and ideas. What type of long travle you have in mind for the pilot. Now that you have tested several shock packages what your thought on width, lenght, travle and type. Which one would soot your many riding and racing areas. If the briggs is to your liking you may want to keep the pilot stock with a good set of shock. call it old relibilaty.

Congrats Turbo..... I am looking forward to ridding with you again. Hopefully when there is not 3 inches of fine dust out here at the trails in MF so that we can see where the hell we are going. I cant wait to see this piece of history! Truly a great find sir. I recall you speaking about the project last time we rode. What are the details surronding the tranny and powerplant? How are those new tire holding up for you on your truck?

I got the woman out there on the pilot the next weekend after we rode and she had an absolute blast and she did not run into anything this time!!!! Pilot is still running strong! I still have to do something with the air intake when time permits.

I have been training as well as moding the CR250R for some single track cross country events with the other 5 guys you met out here last time. I will be going up to Talimena OK to ride race the trails that are located on a supposedly enormous million acre forest, The loops are 70miles... Can we say holy Snikies Batman!!!!
So far I have done the following because I know you will say how many time you gonna have to fill up...heheh:

Full custom Race tech suspension front and rear- I know you probably had to do this for your son's bike as well
190 PSI compression
Clarke Desert oversize tank
V force 2 kit with new reeds
JD Jet kit
Fork seal dirt skin protectors
Trail Tech kickstand
New throttle and clutch cables
Acerbis ralley pro 2 Bark busters
New scotts grips
New chain and sprocket combo 13T, 52T rear
New filter
Proseal airbox seal
Front fork push button air bleaders
New brakes front and rear
FMF Turbinecore 2 added to the FMF Gnarly pipe to be legal with sprk arresstor
1 inch power madd bar risers
GPR steering dampner
Works skid plate armor
In the future pssible 11-13oz flywheel weight
All of this added to the existing mods makes for one hell of a trail torque wheelie machine! You will have to ride it next time for sure my friend while I take a spin on the EEE!!!!!

Hope all is well sir! :-)

I aint sure what Im going to do for the pilot yet... keeping it stock with the works shocks set up like you let me try out is the easiest... This would be handy if I ever went to those tree infested GNCC races!
2nd option is to duplicate what you did on the rears! hardest part would be getting shocks built/set up for it!!!
Once I get that figured outr then I will tackle the fronts!

1frc... with age comes the cage! I don't see myself riding your torque monster!!! Maybe all the new mods will keep you from falling off too LOL
You guys will have a blast doing the races!!! Glad to see the gf enjoying her new ride!!!
when I get back home with the eee we need to plan a trip to mf or the dunes before it gets too cold!!!

I aint too worried about the turning heads! Lol
Stopping is always good!!! I hear you know a lot about this bad boy, so I'm sure I'll have a ton of questions! Do you remember what the front spindles/ hubs are off of? Eventually I will need new wheels/rims!

Don't know what the front hubs and wheels are off of. Researched it for a while with no success. I do know that you can't go any smaller in diameter than what you have. (tried that with a 10" wheel) or else the rims will rub. You can get blank wheels from douglass and drill them for that pattern which is what I think the previous owner did. Did you pick it up yet? Feel free to ask all the questions you have. I'll answer as many as possible.

my research was at flea bay... seems they are off an atc... least that's what I found listed... I will try a 12" rim with that pattern... hopefully off a utility quad! Brooks is headed back from the ne, and I'm headed to long beach! When I'm empty I will bounce to scotsdale and take her for a spin! I havent even test drove it yet! LOL Slick rick is coming out to go with me...

Front tire off a 83/83 ATC250R was popular back in the day for front tires on a buggy they were taller and had a great tread pattern.

What Engine does that thing have, modified FL350?

Kinda... the motor (( Internal Combustion Engine ? )) in it now is a 500cc poloris twin lc sled motor (( Internal Combustion Engine ? )), and the original modified water jacketed 350 comes with the deal...
I think king and brooks swapped the motor (( Internal Combustion Engine ? )) when brooks lived up there...

Vroom vroom! I hope I can handle all that horsepower! Brooks is willing to spend some time with me going over everything before I drag it off! I ordered new helmet and neck brace he just got home and texted me of its arrival!
I am going to play hell not getting a speeding ticket between long beach and scottsdale!

nothing right now!!! but king is right!!! Brooks had a hard time finding any... If the hole pattern is 4x110 then looks like a trx 300 4x4 rear wheel is going to fit???
