ATTENTION : New Mexico, Oklahoma, Kansas and Texas Pilot Owners... YOU guy's are MISSING out on a great weekend of fun by not coming to this EVENT!!!
Ten mile laps, fast sections, lots of challenging terrain, beautiful weather, and HOT Girls (not really I just thru that in LOL)
I pre ran the course yesterday, even in the Pilot... The triple EEE loved the course just seemed like I was floating on rails in most sections... I can't wait for Saturdays Race...
It's not to late to pack up and come!!!
ALL Day Sunday the ranch has opened up for anyone to ride, and we will have Wounded warriors that will be riding the course as well!!!

I was involved in a wreck/rollover yesterday afternoon... I was riding shotgun on a RZR-S when the knuckle head driving thought he was a racer and started broadsliding then fklipped it on its side, then it rolled over to my side, and stopped... Smashed the end of ONE finger??? Not sure how or why just the one... It will make driving kinda hard cause it hurts like hell...
the rzr broke a shock, an AXLE and a sway bar, but was able to limp itself back to the shop... Roll bar did a great job as well as the tube doors!!! I suggest anyone with a rzr get these style doors... and to put wrist straps on your oh shit handle bars... I held on to mine as best I could, but got really lucky I didn't break an arm under the cage...

Glad to hear you're "ok" David and get to keep the finger.

Another warning to everyone...wrist straps and harnesses! I'm down to 8 finger b/c "I don't need no stinking wrist straps...it's only a quick test & tune ride". I don't move unless i'm strapped in and wrist straps secured.

Sorry to hear about your roll over, glad you are ok. I have been in a RZR when it laid down on its side (I was a passenger and it was the passenger side), we slid in the sand for about 30 or 40 feet, I got some sand in the face, but I held on to the grab bar as hard as I could and survived unscathed.

I sure hope your finger that got hurt wasn't the one that matters the most...

Finger hasn't fallen off yet!
1frc showed up yesterday with his stretched out pilot and big bad motor (( Internal Combustion Engine ? ))! We took a pre-run lap, and he blew out one of his freshly rebuilt fox shocks so I loaned him mine for the rear!
The dust is horrendous, and will make passing difficult because of visibility! Course is laid out well, and should be really fast!
10 utvs showed, mostly new XP's
I put the TurboTexas hex on them so they should all break down!!!
1frc will be tough to beat with his blinged out pilot!
I need to hurry uP and get my eee project far enough along to where I can tune my clutch for more speed!!!

Well I feel like I brought a pocket knife to a gun fight!
Never knew it was going to be a night rtace! They started us early, before dawn even! 15 minutes before dawn and 10 before our reviced posted time! Hell 45 minutes before the sun even came up! Racers were supposed to to have 60 second staggard starts but didn't and they started 1frc and me behind the sport mods who where throwing dust up at 20 mph and didn't have a yellow light in the rear! I almost hit them!
I am happy they let us come race with the UTVs but am pissed about taking our pro entry fees and starting after the sport mods!
Then there is getting lost on the course, which was my fault because I couldn't see!!! 1frc just followed me not knowing because he only had one prerun lap!!! Hell I had 6 or 7 laps total prerunning and simply couldn't see!!! It should have been a black flag and restart imo after several people come up lost!!! I even pitted just to find the race officials to tell them of the utv without an amber light, and inform them we got lost on/cut the course and they just said they would fix it later... Race over for me at that point and it became a trail ride!!! I am happy with the way the triple ran, but lost a bolt out of the Engine mount!!!

that sucks!! That really pisses me off when they have sanctioned events and take your money but then they don't have their shit together and they don't care, makes you want to beat the shit out of the officials!

It was dark Hoser, and as small as my gps is I would have to come to a complete stop! The course was marked well but when it is dark, you just can't see the arrows or the ribbons they lined the course with!
I just had a conversation with one of the directors, and expressed my concerns! In my experiences just last weekend at a whiplash race, when more that one gets lost they stopped the race (black flagged us, then re-started us! I assummed that was happening when we got back it so I just eased the triple eee back in! Well when I got there and told them they just waved me on and said they would fix it later... Duh too f'ing late now!
Their timer was late today, so they were not prepared for us and the start director had to do the timing also!!! I expressed to them that we spend as much money and time as the big guys do preparing for this, and we just want the fair playing field anyone would!

you're right Rick... I guess I am whinning too much... I believe my Racing days are over... It is too much Hassle to convince people to let us race with these old school buggies, and when they do let us race, they treat us like we are in their way...
The biggest reason I started racing was because it was so hard to get anyone to come ride with me... Totally undaerstandable I have a screwey job that gives me too much time on my hands...
I have spent 10's of thouasands of dollars in this venture and am getting no returns... I see now why my son got bored with his motocross racing...
I enjoyed the competition while I was racong at Whiplash, but I think my future riding ventures will be more Hoserized and stick to the trail riding... I might even consider trading all my toys for just one rhino or rzr with out all the race mods... keep in eliable...
