I need to upgrade the message board software its just a maintenance update below is what they claim it does.



Notice they are complicating their famous permissions system for even MORE control and micro management, all the control homos should really be happy to receive more tools to exercise control over.

You guys will all be happy to know everybody that signs up for this site has the same permissions as every other user but ME and a few others that remain name less that I gave moderator permissions too in case something happens to me.

This site has no quotas or special groups or hidden areas for elite members, no rating system bla bla bla like other sites do.

Anyways getting back to installing the update, I will be doing this soon maybe even tonight I usually try to do this late at night so it does not affect many users if any, plan is to do it tonight if I fall asleep then I will do it tomorrow night lol

What will happen is you try the site it will give you some message its down for maintenance or something, if everything goes good this usually only takes about 15 min to perform the upgrade, I have already tried this upgrade here at home and it gave me all kinds of problems, turns out its missing a database its missing because the upgrade never created it, I spent about 4 hrs researching the problem with no luck, I refuse to go to the phpbb site ask them mutts for help, finally I went into the database of the message board we had been using for a backup site and copied it then imported it into this sites database my hoserizing seem to work and fix the updates problems.

Worse comes to worse I will restore it to before the upgrade.

No data should be lost everything will be backed up before I start, no post will be lost because you wont be able to post while I am upgrading

Will let you know how it went after the upgrade then you guys can test it out and let me know if something seems wrong.
