Getting first snow of 2012 .

"The storm begins today and is expected to dump 3-6" of snow in big cities likes Chicago & Milwaukee. As much as 10" could fall in other places"

Hope we get the 10" or more so I can get out the RZR-S and the sleds pull the grand kids around :-)

Anybody else getting any?

What year is that Tahoe?

I've got a 97 4x4 tahoe I believe the same color - burgandy or is your sblack - hard to tell in the picture. Good day to have a 4x4.

I got probably 2-4 inches here in Cedar Rapids, IA...we had a lot of wind with this one. They are saying next week it's going to warm up again but cold through the weekend.

California having a bad year to date with all our ski resorts suffering. Bizarre after the bumper year we had last season, I think Mammoth had more inches than anywhere in the nation? Wife and I skied one day at Big Bear mid December and there has been no snow fall since so not worth going back. Hoping we get a good late spring season! Till then, I have 2 pilot outings arranged over the next 2 weeks :-)

Any pics of you skiing and your gimp on a stick thing? Been trying to picture this it sounds interesting.

Alaska has been having some record snow fall http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article ... l?ITO=1490

Got to get about 2 mins into the video untill he shuts his bake and starts skiing but my god can he ski!!!!

That looks so cool, any non gimps buying and using these I could see where they would want in on the action he makes it look fun.

So whats your skill level on one of these? I have always been into snow sports that included a Engine lol

I can ski double black diamonds comfortably and love to do so but I'm a million miles from the level that Cat can ski at not to mention older and quite a bit more beat up lol :-) I'm happy to ski blue or black runs with friends all day long though, just so long as I'm skiing!

A friend who I helped launch in to the industry as a manufacturer of mono skis is looking at marketing to able bodied skiers as he himself, an expert skier chooses to only ski his mono these days! Check out 'hands on concepts'
Wife and I spent 09/10 season working at a resort in Colorado and i skied 102 days. That is the level of commitment needed every year to be at the top. Seeing that all my years in America have been spent in Florida, Hawaii and Southern California it sorta spells out my love for sun and ocean. Living where I live gives me the best of all worlds. 2.5 hours NE and I can be skiing (if it snows :-) ) 2 hours east and I got great riding for my pilot and my Fj, 10 mins west and I'm surfing or cycling. That's the problem with having so many passions but hey, not exactly a bad problem :-)
