I noticed in one of muds Engine rebuilds that one of the bearings was listed as a S6205.

viewtopic.php?f=34&t=9485

Part#91002-HEO-004.

I have learned that the S means special. And sure enough it is a special bearing. Only used on the FL400. So whats special about it. Its the thickness. A regular 6205 is 15mm thick. 91002-HE0-004 is only 10mm thick. I do not know how many Honda has in stock, but this may be a good bearing to keep in stock, before it is discontinued.

91002-HEO-004, superceeded by 91002-HEO-003, which cross references to many models, all the way up to 2012 TRX250.

S- designates Stainless Steel.

S is not for stainless my friend. The S for part number 91033-HE0-005 (S6306) (C3) if for a special bearing. In this case special = 32mm ID.

I must of had my view on powersportsplus.com limited to just fl400 when I searched. You are correct that bearing will be around for sometime it is listed on many bikes. Sorry for the confusion.
