I took my ody down the street to test a new mod,I take it to this canal by my house that I ride.Well I havent rode this canal in a couple months and trusted that nothinh had changed,boy was I wrong.The rain had carved a 3-4' WIDE rut right in the middle of my path.
Luckily,I don't know how,i guess I was going fast enough I zoomed across it,I couldnt beleive it,I saw it and braced for impact but it never came,pretty lucky

yep I was very lucky,If I had been on one of my 3 wheelers this would had a whole different outcome :shock:

I almost hooked up my camera to test my camera mount to see if it would be less bouncy,but even if I would have I doubt you could have seen anything,it would just have been a flash and since there was no carnage there was nothing to see :-)

I did the same thing over the summer. It was only the right side of the ody though(a deep washout next to the road.. I wasn't going as fast as you and destroyed my lower front shock bushing.

sorry to hear that but it could have been a lot worse,just losing a bushing aint too bad
